Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport GRK, used for commercial and general aviation, is an hour's drive from Austin, and less than three hours from Dallas and San Antonio.
The Airportt is centrally located in the heart of Texas, along the I-35 corridor, and is adjacent Fort Hood. Numerous four-lane highways also make travel to/from Austin, San Antonio and Waco relatively easy. The Airport,

The passenger terminal at Killeen-Fort Hood Regional can be accessed via SH201/Clear Creek Road, at the Chet Edward Loop, and offers food service, a gift shop, a laptop station, and rental car desks. The Airport Military Liaison Desk is on the first floor--next to the inbound baggage area and across from the rental car desks, open daily 8am-midnight, tel: 254-501-6101.

Parking options at Killeen-Fort Hood Regional include: Disabled parking spaces, located right across the terminal, with the Short-Term parking lot right behind it--use entries 4, 5 an 6; the Long-Term parking lot fills the space in the lower part of the loop, adjacent to the Short-Term lot with entries 1, 2 and 7. To exit, you can use either the 24-hr credit lane or the cashier lane.
