Guest Services at Kuala Lumpur KUL Airport

Information:
1. Information Counters are strategically located and its personnel will be happy to assist you. The information counters handles inquiries, PA broadcasts for paging people, lost & found and other services. You can easily locate these counters at:

2. The Visitor Service Center is located on the third floor of the Main Terminal Building at the baggage reclaim area, and is managed by Tourism Malaysia and supported by Malaysia Airports and Malaysia Airlines. Its employees are available 24/7 to answer passengers' and visitors' questions and provide information relevant to the airport, to flights, to accommodations, to transportation and to tourist information. Airline Lounges:
Situated in the Satellite Building on the mezzanine level. Facilities in the lounges include complimentary snacks and beverages as well as magazines and newspapers, TVs, comfortable seating and flight information screens. Some lounges offer basic business facilities such as telephones, fax machines, computers and Internet access.

1. MAS Golden Lounge - West Wing (C1-C6) - for Malaysia Airlines passengers only.
2. Royal Orchid Lounge - North Wing (C11-17) - for Thai Airways passengers only.
3. Cathay Pacific Lounge - East Wing (C21-C27) - for Cathay Pacific passengers only.
4. Silver Kriss Lounge - North Wing (C11-17) - for Singapore Airlines passengers only.
5. Emirates Lounge - East Wing (C21-C27) - for Emirates Airlines passengers only.
6. Dynasty Lounge - South Wing (C31-37) - for China Airlines passengers only.

Baggage Wrapping or Strapping:
1. Baggage Wrapping (operated by Suria Manis Sdn Bhd): 3 counters are at Departure Hall, Level 5, Main Terminal Building. Open 4am-11pm; Fees: RM 7 per item. 2. Baggage Strapping (operated by Super Strap Enterprise): 2 counters are available at Departure Hall, Level 5, Main Terminal Building. Open 5am-11pm. Fees: RM5 per item.

Baggage / Excess Baggage:
Depending on your final destination, an excess baggage fee will apply for any additional baggage you wish to check in over your free allowance. For passengers exceeding their baggage allowance, allow extra time at the airport to pay the excess. Available 24/7. For more information call +603-8776 5059. Excess baggage stations are located at:

Baggage Storage:
1. Luggage Storage Facilities is operated by Talasco Dagang Sdn Bhd. There are two counters at the Main Terminal Building: one in the Departure Hall, Level 5; and one in the Arrival Hall, Level 3. Fees depend on size and vary from RM 10 to RM 40. Open 24/7.
2. KLIA Compusafe Locker at Satellite Building. Fees for each 2-hr period RM 5.

Children's Play Area:
Special play areas have been designed for them at Level 5 of the Main Terminal Building (MTB), where they will be amply entertained with the slides, carts, games and activities. However, parent is responsible for child's safety - there is no supervision provided.

Freshen-up Facilities:
The Airside Transit Hotel located in the offers the following facilities & rates to travelers not checking into the hotel:
Shower - RM 20; Gym & shower - RM 30; Sauna & shower - RM 30; Gym, Shower, Sauna & Steam Bath: RM 50.

Hotels:
1. The Airside Transit Hotel is located inside the Satellite Building, next to Gate C5, and is an ideal choice for the weary transit traveler between flights, who will have advantage of not having to check through Malaysian Immigration and Customs. Its facilities include 80 rooms w/bathroom & tv; an in-room safe; 24-hr availability; a fitness center with shower, sauna & steam bath; a Lounge bar cafe, telephone calls (IDD/STD) and a full-range business center. Use of sauna, steam bath & gym is free for in-house guests, but available to the public at a fee (see Freshen-up Facilities above).

Room rates apply to a 6-hr block and range from RM 140 to RM 230. Each add'l hr after the 6-hr block is RM20, up to Hr 9 only; an extra bed is RM30. Double rates (2 block) apply for stays between 10 - 12 hours.

Note that the Airside Transit Hotel only caters to International arrival/departure passengers at KLIA terminal.

2. The Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport Hotel - a 5-star international hotel - is situated adjacent to the KL International Airport's Main Terminal Building and linked to it by a sky-bridge requiring a five-minute walk. Or you can take their 24-hr complimentary buggy shuttle service between the airport and the hotel.

Massage:
The Reflexology & Massage Center is located at Lot SATP B1, Passenger Level, Satellite Building, KLIA (leading to gates C1-C5, next to smoking room). Open Mon-Sat 7am-1am; Sun 7am-midnight. Tel: +603-8776 2397.

Multi-Media Kiosks: (Managed by Rhyzrin Sdn Bhd) offers:
Telephony (at a fee); Web Access (at a fee); Information Malaysia; Interactive Guide; Directory Platform; Entertainment Platform; Online Booking; Re-load Prepaid Card; and Bill Payment. Payment Method: by coins, cash (RM & USD only) and credit cards.

Nurseries: The numerous nurseries located throughout both terminals are equipped with diaper change facilities, baby bed, chair, washbasin & all necessities to attend to your child. Location:
1. Main Terminal Building: 2 locations, near The International Departure;
2. Contact Pier (International) - Near entrance Gate B2-B10
3. Contact Pier (Domestic) near entrances of (a) Gate A2-A11 and next to Golden Lounge; and (b) Gate B1-B11 and next to Butler’s outlet.
4. Satellite Building leading to Gates C11-C17 and C21-C27.

Telephones & Phone Cards:
Payphone booths are located in stragetic locations on each level of the terminal buildings. IDD and STD calls can be made from telephones booths by using either: (a) Malaysian coins; or (b) Time Reach payphone cards available in denominations of RM 20.00 (USD 5.30); RM 30.00 (USD 7.90); RM 50.00 (USD 13.20). (The USD amount is subject to daily currency fluctuations.)

Time Reach payphone cards are available at:
(a) the Main Terminal Bldg. - at Books & Magazines Shop, Departure Hall,Level 5; the Fotopro Shop at Departure Hall, Level 5; and the Airport Shoppe at Arrival Hall, Level 3.
(b) the Satellite Bldg. - at Electrical & Electronics Shop; and at Books & Magazines Shop.

Viewing Gallery:
Located airside at the end of the Main Terminal Building. The viewing gallery also provides stunning views of the Satellite Building and the routes of the Aerotrain, including all the movements and activities taking place at the apron.

Lost & Found at Kuala Lumpur KUL Airport

Mail Center / U.S. Post Office at Kuala Lumpur KUL Airport

The Post Office is operated by POS Malaysia Berhad and offers various postal services. Open 8:30am-5pm, Mon-Sat, except State Holidays. Location: Departure Hall, Level 5, in the Main Terminal Building.

Pets / Animals at Kuala Lumpur KUL Airport

Pets are not allowed at the airport unless they are working dogs or are in a safe kennel. Contact your airline as to their requirements. Also contact the Malayan Embassy if you bring an animal into the Airport as to their requirements regarding shots and documentation.

Smoking at Kuala Lumpur KUL Airport

Smoking is not permitted on Airport premises. However, there are established designated smoking areas inside the airport:

Contact Pier - on Domestic Level (near Gate B2)
Satellite Building - next to Gate C1 (leading to Airside Transit Hotel).
