Inefficient and ineffective systemNov 5, 201212This Year and last year the system failed my wife and myself at gatwick Airline involved had registered us for assistance and cabin crews did what was necessary. We were held back to get off at the end and expected a wheeel chair of buggy transport. On both ocaasions other passengers used the system and were left waiting but no further assitance dccmae. The reuslt was we had too wlak as we had a car wiaitng. other arrivals formed great cues at Passpotrt control and when we reached \baggage reclaim Our cases cound not initally be found other arrivals corowding the carousel We ar both elderly and we have medical problems,cannot walk far and stress does not make things easier Surely any system should record passenger names for assistance so a check ccan be made ater leaving the aircraft so noene wanting assistance is left to cope by themselves even having registered.
