Main Terminal / Concourses at Pensacola International PNS Airport
Pensacola International Airport has one two-level passenger terminal has recentlly completed its renovaton and expanstion program, by adding new terrazzo flooring, free luggage carts, new double-sided restrooms serving family/nursing purposes, new main entrance sign, enlarged security checkpoint area, and new seating . An advanced automated baggage handling and screening system now enables passengers to check in and check their baggage all at once, thereby allowing passengers to proceed directly through security to their departure gates. A Peferred Access Lane has also been added.
The terminal consists of two levels: Baggage claim and ticketing are on the main level, while the Departure Concourse with security checkpoint and gates 1 to 12 is on the second level. Gates 8, 10 & 12 and gates 7, 9 & 11 on opposite sides can be reached directly by escalators, stairs or elevators.
The new Preferred Access Lane is at the entrance to securit y screening checkpoint. Available for passengers holding boardinpasses foAA Priority Access, Delta Sky Priority, & Expedite, United Premier Access & US Airways Preferred Access.
Services and amenities at Pensacola Airport include: Airport Ambassadors are available for inquiries. Charging stations are at gates 2, 5, 7 & 8; courtesy paging pones are on level 1 between escalator & baggage claim, and on level 2 near the USO Info Booth, and at gates 2 & 7 on the Concourse. A postal box is outside near the ticketing area. Free WiFi is available in most of the terminal areas. The USO Lounge is in the lobby on level 2 (850-455-1064). Verona's Restaurant is between gates 4 & 6, and the Paradies Shop between gates 4 & 6. Rental car counters are in the arrivals area and include eight rental car agencies. An ATM machine is on level 1 by the escalator and across from Varona's Restaurant on Concourse between gates 4-6.
