Guest Services at Wellington WLG Airport
Information:
(a) The Terminal Services Team:
A team, lead by a Duty Manager, is responsible for the daily operation of the terminal. Their primary duties are: Customer service and inquiries; Staffing the 24-hr Airport Operations Center; Traffic Management; and Support the baggage handling system.
The team members--Airport Service Officers (ASOs) can be found around the terminal, or you can contact them via Customer Assistance Phones located on level 0 (Baggage Claim) or Level 1 just past the check in area.
(b) The Wellington Airport Ambassadors Team:
It consists of a group of easily approachable volunteers making their rounds from noon to 4pm in the Terminal busiest areas of the terminal. They will help you find your way around the Airport if you approach them.
Listed below in alphabetical order are other services rendered which are not listed separately:
Baby Care: A family-friendly parent’s room is located in the main terminal, on the first floor along the retail street. It includes facilities for the diaper changing, as well as toilets and a comfortable seat for feeding. There are also changing areas in all bathroom facilities.
Cell Phone Rental: Rent a Telecom roaming phone suitable for use in Australia, or upgrade your current one at the Telecom kiosk, International Departures, post-security.
Copying/Faxing: Photocopying and faxing services are available at the Wellington Airport Conference Centre on Level 2 of the Main Terminal Building.
Courier Service: A courier service is provided by NZ Post, opposite International Departures on level 1.
Departure Fees: Passengers 12 and over $25, children $10 (under 2: free). You only pay departure fee for international travel directly out of Wellington Airport. If the international departure on your journey is from a different airport, you pay departure tax from that airport. Payment can be made at Travelex Money Exchange on level 1 of the main terminal building.
Lounges: The Golden Wings Club and the Koru Lounge are located on the 2d level of the passenger terminal.
Luggage Storage: If you need to store your bags in the airport, call (04) 385 5124. The storage room suitable accommodates any size and object, all you need is photo ID and some money.
Telephones: Public pay phones are located by the escalators on the first floor check-in area and on the ground floor or the main terminal, as well as in the South Pier, South-West Pier and the Northern Pier. Phone cards can be purchase from the book shop on the first level.

Lost & Found at Wellington WLG Airport
For general lost property inquiries call (04)385 5124. If items are not claimed within three weeks, the item may be discarded. If the property is valuable (wallets, passports etc), it is handed to the Airport Police Office and can be claimed from there by calling (04) 4948430. Bank or EFT-POS cards are forwarded to the appropriate bank.

Note: It is a serious offense to leave unaccompanied baggage in the airport vicinity.

Mail Center / U.S. Post Office at Wellington WLG Airport
Stamps and packaging can be purchased from NZ Post or Whitcoulls, both on level 1. A mail box is located on level 1 of the main terminal building at the top of the up-escalator near the front doors.
Pets / Animals at Wellington WLG Airport
Pets are not allowed at the airport, unless they are working dogs or are in a safe kennel. Contact your airline as to their requirements. If you intend to take your pet out of the country, contact the embassy of the country of your destination as to shots and documentation requirements.

Smoking is not permitted at Wellington Airport.
