Online check-in & baggage payment You can book your flight online to any of Air India’s network destinations and Air India’s code-share flights. The Booking Reference or PNR assigned to you consists of 5 characters (i.e., ‘HEXW8’) and is used by to locate your reservations record and electronic ticket. Online reservations with open dates cannot be made; selected sectors must be booked on a confirmed basis and paid for at time of reservation
Carry-on Baggage Rules & Fees All flight classes on Air India’s network are allowed to bring onboard one carry-on bag not to exceed 8 kg and with linear dimensions (height, width + length) of up to 45in/115cm, and should fit under the seat in front of you or into the overhead bin. You may also bring onboard a coat, jacket or blanket; an umbrella or walking stick; a handbag or a slim laptop bag; a small camera or binoculars; for infants under 2: a baby carrier or child car seat or collapsible stroller.
Checked Baggage Rules & Fees The free checked baggage allowance for passengers paying adult or child fare is based on (a) the destination (which either applies the piece or the weight system), or (b) on the flight class of the passenger. While for USA & Canada the piece system applies, all other flights in Air India’s network apply the weight system.
