serves the Andalucian province of Almeria, Spain, and is gateway to the tourist destinations of Cabo de Gata, Aguadulce, Roquetas de Mar, El Ejido and Mojacar.
LEI Airport is located at the center of the Bay of Almeria, 9 km east of the city center of Almeria, in south-east Spain. It is close to the towns of El Alquian & Cotacabana, and is accessible via A7 (Motorway of the Mediterranean), marked with a clear sign to the Airport exit, through the AL-17 dual carriageway.
With 919,808 passengers in 2016, Almeria Airport is served by regular national and international, as well as low-cost Airlines offering direct and connecting flights to Europe and beyond. Numerous charter flights arrive and depart daily.
