I will be flying from BHX (Birmingham UK) via AMS to BOG (Bogota Colombia) the connection time in AMS is 50 minutes KLM assure me that this is sufficient time for the transfer. Will I have to go through security at AMS? The last time I did this it was a nightmare!!
That is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Am travelling from UK to Istanbul via Amsterdam on Friday 4th August at 18.55. I have 1 hr 50 mins to change in Amsterdam and only have hand luggage, will I have to go through passport control and re-check in when I get there and if so, will I have enough time?
If both flights are on KLM all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
On my way from Dublin to Luxembourg I have a connection at Amsterdam. There are only 40 minutes connection time. Is it enough? Arrival at 8:20, departure at 9:00. Operated by KLM Cityhopper.
Am arriving on 18th Sept at AMS from UK at 9:00 and flight to South Africa leaves at 10:35. is that enough time to transfer bearing in mind the extra security?
Coming from the UK there should be no extra security. That should be enough time.
Hi,
I will be travelling in August 2017 from India to Canada and my connecting flight is from Amsterdam schiphol(waitng time 4 hours).Do i require visa for Amsterdam ? Please suggest

India-----to Amsterdam(layover 4 hr)------>Canada
If you hold a valid visa for Canada you are exempted from needing an Airport Transit Visa unless your flights are on two separate reservations.
When I land in Amsterdam from California and collect my luggage, where do I go to check into my flight with Air Malta? This is not a connecting flight, how much time will I need and do I need to go through customs again?
You won't have to go through customs again. You will arrive, go through Schengen Entry passport control, claim your bags, go through customs, re-check your bags with Air Malta on the check-in level, then go through security. You'll want at least 2-3 hours.
Arrive in AMS at 1:35pm from Budapest. Have flight to US leaving at 3:15pm. Is this enough time to make the connection? What will we have to go through as far as security and gates? Schengen exit also plus US security questions?
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We have 90 minutes from when we arrive in AMS from Portugal to get to our connection back to the US (MSP). Should this be enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hello, I will travel with a US passport from TPE to DUB, vis AMS, and vice versa early August and early September. As for the itinerary, there is an option of a 50-minute or a 2hr 55 minute layover on my way in. Then on the way out it's either 55 minutes or 4 hr 55 minutes. I am concerned that 50 minutes on the way in and 55 minutes on the way out would be too tight. Yet 4 hr 55 minutes seems like a long time. Also, will I have to go through security check? I will try not to check any bags, though I may have to check 1. Please advice how I should arrange my itinerary, thank you very much.
We are flying Delta(KML) into Schiphol arriving at 6:00 am with our Air Lingus(KML) flight to Cork departing at 9:20 am. Upon arrival we will need to stop at the transfer desk for our onward boarding pass but after that I'm not sure and then were hoping to stop off at the Yotel for a quick nap and shower.

I am trying to understand exactly what immigration, security or passport requirements we will experience from the moment we arrive until depart again.

Thanks
I don't know if you'll really have time to stop at the Yotel. Do you have checked bags or not? If you have no checked bags you just have to go to the Aer Lingus transfer desk and to your departure gate.
No checked bags, just carry-ons. The real question is what immigration, security or passport requirements we will experience from the moment we arrive until depart again
Since you aren't entering the Schengen Area you do not go through passport control. You just go to the Aer Lingus transfer desk and your departure gate.
