55 minute connection timeFeb 26, 201310I am arriving on KLM1000 from Heathrow at 09:05 and leaving to Kilimajaro on KLM571 at 10:00, is this enough time to transfer? Have been booked through an agent for work!SMBeasantposted on Tue, Feb 26[ Reply ][ Like ]On Arrival at AMS: All passengers need to go through Passport Control - follow the signs for 'Baggage Hall' & 'Arrivals Hall'--if applicable; then go through passport control and poceed to the baggage belts in the baggage hall (ground level). Claim your bags & go through Customs for security check and re-check-in your bag. NOTE: Arrivals 1 & 2 areas lead up to Departures 1 & 2; and Arrivals 3 & 4 lead up to Departure 3. Departures 1 uses the B, C & D gates; Departures 2 uses the E gates; Departure 3 uses F, G, H & M gates. (Arrivals 1 & 2 and Arrivals 3 & 4 are on opposite sides of the center.) Gate-to-Gate transfers: B & C gates are at the very right end of the bow-shaped terminal; north of it are the C gates arranged in a Y-shape; around the bend are the E gates, followed in the center by the F gates; right thereafter is entry to the G, H & M gates (G gates are to the right, H & M gates to the left). Walking time from the entry of B or C gates all the way over to the entry of G, H or M gates would take about 15 mins.tufeb13posted on Tue, Feb 26

Connecting FlightsFeb 23, 201311We're flying from the U.S. to Zurich through Amsterdam. When we arrive at Schiphol on Delta, can we go directly to our KLM flight or will we have to go through customs first? We only have and hour to get off the Delta flight and onto the KLM flight. Also, does anyone know if Delta and KLM are in the same terminal or close to each other? Thanks in advance!!DJHmvposted on Fri, Feb 221 person likes this post [ Like ]On arrival at AMS, follow signs to 'Arrivals Hall'; then go through passport control and poceed to the baggage belts in the baggage hall (ground level). Claim your bags & go through Customs for security check; proceed to the arrivals hall through the green passageway to the Arrivals hall - I am not sure, however, if this applies to passengers continuing their journey. If so, you would need to take the escalator up to the Departures level; go through security check & on to your gate. Meeting pointSep 13, 201211Arriving 5 Oct from Edin flight 6921. Meeting up with friends arriving from Frankfurt LH986. Can you suggest central meeting point?AnnieSposted on Thu, Sep 13AMS Airport has one large passenger terminal with three-levels - everything is under one roof, including Piers (Concourses) B-C, D, E, F, G-H & M: Inside the first level are separate sections, marked as 'Arrivals 1' through 'Arrivals 4': This level also includes Information desks, bars & restaurants, stores, a hairdresser, a service center, a supermarket and baggage storage & lockers. A Transfer Assistance booth is close to the supermarket. You can meet your party at any one of these. For terminal details open www.ifly.com/ams and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS; then scroll down to the text.PilotJoeposted on Thu, Sep 131 person likes this post [ Like ]
