Antalya Havalimani AYT Airport Overview

Antalya Havalimani Airport AYT serves Turkey's primary vacation destinations and has seen tremendous growth - between 2002 and 2010 the yearly passenger count has more than doubled -  due to the service of low-cost airlines & seasonal charters. (Gazipasa Airport, located between Anamur and Alanya, 100 km to the east of Antalya Airport, has recently been opened and should relieve the air traffic.)
Antalya Airport received in 2011 its 'Best Airport in Europe' award (among airports 10-25 million passengers a year.)

The Airport is located 13 km northeast of the city center of Antalya, in Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast. When exiting the main road between Antalya and Belek, you pass the IC Hotel; after the curve you will pass the International Terminal 1; next to it is the Domestic terminal, with a separate small CIP terminal right next to it; the  International Terminal 2 is at the end of that road.

With three long runways and close to 25 million passengers in 2012, Antalya Airport is served by a myriad of domestic, international, regular & low-cost Airlines offer direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe. Seasonal charters also serve the Airport.

The on-Airport IC Hotel offers conference facilities.

Antalya Airport has three passenger terminals - the international terminals T1, & T2  and the Domestic Terminal 3. (For more information, please refer to 'Terminal Map' page.)

Rental car counters at Antalya Airport are located in the International terminal and the Domestic terminals and are presently staffed by the following rental car agencies: (a) International Terminals – Pelikan Oto Kiralama; Burcu Turizm (Filo Rent); Yes Oto Kiralama (National).  (b) Domestic Terminal: Europcar, Hertz, Budget, Avis, National & others.
 
To get from Antalya Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a bus or one of the hotel shuttle buses. Taxi fares are regulated and are available 24/7.
1. Public buses during summer time run between the terminals and the city from  6:10am-1:10pm, every 20 mins.
2. Havas provides coach service from the Domestic Terminal; its departures are according to airline landing schedules.
3. Airline-sponsored coaches pick up according to landing schedules.
4. Public buses and mini buses (‘dolmus’) are the most common transportation in the city of Antalya. There is also a short route available on the Light Rail.
