Antwerpen Deurne ANR Airport Overview
ANR Airport is only 2 km southeast of the city of Antwerpen. Due of its short runway (1,510 meters), it is restricted to smaller aircraft.
With an estimated 140,000 passengers a year, Antwerpen Airport is presently served by CityJet with direct flights to London City Airport and by tour operator 'Beauiful Britain' to Jersey.
The new passenger terminal at Antwerpen International opened in 2006 and offers WiFi access, internet kiosk at ‘Extra Schengen’ departures; te ‘Brabo’ business/airline lounge ; Belair Restaurant (+32 (0)3 239 1408.
For business meetings there are five rooms available accommodating 6 to 20 persons (call +32 (0)3 285 65 13).
Parking is free at Antwerpen International and offers 500 parking spaces.
Getting from Antwerpen Airport to your destination: Taxis usually wait in front of the passenger terminal, if there is no taxi waiting, ask Security to call for one. A list of taxi phone numbers is also posted inside the arrivals area of the terminal.
Buses 51, 52 & 53 run between the Airport and the national Antwerpen-Berchem railway station, a 10-minute trip, and continue on to St. Jozef hospital in Mortsel. Passengers heading to city center will need to change on arrival at the railway station to Tram 9. Note that International trains depart from the railway station ‘Antwerpen-Centraal’- reached from bus 32 or tram 9, to Roosevelt Square. For more train information visit: nmbs.be.
