This lounge can be directly accessed via own discrete entrance at the departures level, and its facility is manned by a dedicated team of helpful staff, allowing premium passengers to check in--in the comfort of a hotel-style foyer appointed with armchairs and sofas--foregoing the need to stand in line. With its own departures immigration, passport control and security screening, passengers can thereupon enter enter directly the departures area without delay.

Gulf Air First and Business Class Lounge - An award-winning 1,000 sqm First and Business Class Lounge is located on an upper level overlooking the main apron, and affords an exclusive concept of waiter service,a separate family room as well as a room for children equipped with electronic video games.

Cathay Pacific Lounge, a high-tech airline lounge with free internet access.

Visa And Entry Requirements To obtain Visa online, visit http://www.evisa.gov.bh/ Rules and Regulation regarding Obtaining Visit Visa to Bahrain: (a)Health Vaccination against Yellow Fever is required if arriving within 6 days after leaving or transiting infected areas. Exemptions: Children under 1 year & transit passengers not leaving the airport. It is not required for those not leaving the airport in the areas concerned.

(b) Customs
Free import by passengers 18 years and over:
• 400 cigarettes, 50 cigars and 1/4 kilo of tobacco, in opened packets;
• 8 ozs of perfume;
• 1 liter bottle of alcoholic liquor and 6 cans of beer for non-Moslem passengers only;
• Gifts of up to a maximum of BHD 250.

There are import permits required for: arms and ammunition, mentholated spirits, intoxicating drugs and jewelry.

Currency
Import and Export : Local currency (Bahrain Dinar - BHD) and foreign currencies: no restriction.
