BWI Restaurants - Southwest TerminalsMay 6, 201320I'm flying into BWI as part of a layover when I go on vacation next month. Since I'll be there for roughly 2-1/2 hours, I'd like to find a nice sit down restaurant where I can have dinner, relax and pass the time. Went on Yelp & saw Phillips seafood (got low ratings) and Silver Diner (Concourse B & great ratings). Anyone ate at those, or can you recommend some place else? Thanks!II2None59posted on Mon, Sep 17[ Reply ][ Like ]I haven't been to the Silver Diner in BWI, but the Silver Diner is a nice small independent restaurant chain with good food.kholdstareposted on Sat, Dec 22Definitely Silver Diner. Fun, fast, inexpensive with juke box music. Haven't eaten dinner there but breakfast and lunch always. Philips Seafood is a Maryland institution known for crab cakes. Expensive. As a native Marylander we go out of our way to not eat at any of their restaurants. (The Ocean City one is a tourist must, I guess.) Don't know availability of cocktails at the Diner, if that's important. Lots of fast food places nearby. But we always arrive early enough for our flights just so we can go to the Diner. (And welcome to MD!)EKMposted on Mon, May 6
