Guest Services at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion TLV Airport

Information:
Available 24/7, stewards will be happy to provide information and assistance regarding any matter related to the Airport and its services. The Information counters are located in the Check-In Hall of the Landside Building, opposite Entrance 32, in the Rotunda in the Airside Building, and in the Greeters' Hall, opposite Entrance 03. Listed below in alphabetical order are services not listed separately:

Baggage Storage Service: The free Baggage Storage is located at the Western ("kerem") short-term Parking Lot on the Ground Level (G). Open: Sun-Thu 8am-8pm; Fri 8am-3pm; Sat: 8pm to midnight. Tel: 03-9754436.

Baby & Child Care: (a) Children of the World sculpture and comprises five worlds, based on continents of the world, and incorporates elements representing the worlds of water, ice, the desert, green mountains and of jungle. It incorporates seating areas, games, a boat, a starfish, a small bridge, a camel, an apple tree with a tunnel running through it, an igloo and numerous other sculpted elements to be touched and observed. The work is located in the duty free area of Terminal 3 next to the toy store. An additional two sculptures, one of a bluebird and fish and another of the Earth, are directed towards it. Location : Between the toys store to the electricity store in E branch.

(b) Parent and Child Room: The free Mother and Child Room (Tel: 9757340 - 03) is open year-round, 24/7 and provides service to mothers and fathers with babies or small children. It ofers diaper stands, a place for feeding; warm-up facilities for formula; baby cot, and various toys for different ages.

Ethnic Minority Liaison Officers: The Airport has set a goal of improving the quality of security processing service to minority populations, and accordingly have appointed designated liaison officers specifically for ethnic minorities. These officers work in shifts and coordinate, mediate and assist with security checks, without compromising the necessary security procedures. Contacts:

International Travelers at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion TLV Airport

1. Landing:
Arriving passengers arrive at the Terminal building through the Jetways, or by bus (when the aircraft is parked at a remote parking slot). (a) Arrival through a Jetway
From the aircraft continue, through the Jetway, to the lobby on the first floor. From there, go up to the lobby on the second floor, and carry on, through the concourse, to the 2nd floor of the Rotunda. Here you will go round the Rotunda to the end of the Connector, and from the Connector proceed to the descent to the Border Control Hall, on floor G.
The various levels are connected by stairs and escalators, as well as an elevator adapted for passengers with special needs. Passengers with special luggage such as wheelchairs or pushchairs /baby strollers, will receive that luggage in the lobby on the 2nd floor.

(b) Arrival from an aircraft parked at a remote parking slot
A bus will take you to Level G of the Terminal building.
Go up to the second floor, to the beginning of the Connector. Proceed along the Connector to the point where it descends to the Border Control Hall on Level G. The various levels are connected by stairs and escalators, as well as an elevator adapted for passengers with special needs.
Passengers with special luggage such as wheelchairs or pushchairs /baby strollers, will collect that luggage as they disembark from the aircraft.

Transit Passengers:
Transit passengers should proceed to the first floor, to the Transit Hall, to continue their journey. The entrance to the Transit Hall is at the entrance to the Connector, on the right.

VIP Passengers, Disabled Passengers and Aircrew:
Passengers transported by the El Alit vehicle, as well as VIP passengers arriving in the service provider's vehicle and aircrew, arrive at the entrance to the Border Control Hall on Level G, at the junction point of the Connector and the Border Control Hall. Continue along the Connector up to the descent to the Border Control Hall on Level G.

2. Going through the Connector:
In the Connector, continue according to your destination:
International passenger- go down to the Border Control Hall located on Level G.
Transit passengers- continue going west and go down to the first floor, to the Transit Passengers Hall. The Connector is equipped with speed walks, as well as buggy service for disabled passengers.
Before arriving at the Connector, you can view the Rotunda on the floor below - where the duty free shops are located and where the Star of David is incorporated into the paving of the Rotunda.
While passing through the Connector, you can see, through the glass wall, the aircraft parking apron and the spectacular panorama of the Jerusalem hills.

3. Border Control:
In the Border Control Hall there are manned control counters, and biometric control counters.
Israeli passport holders will approach the manned counters or make use of the biometric system. The controller’s stamp, or the voucher from the biometric system, constitute the exit authorization from the Border Control Hall to the Arrivals Hall.
Foreign passport holders will approach the manned counters only.
Hand the voucher to the representative of border police at the entrance to the Arrivals Hall.

4. Collection of baggage and Customs - Arrivals Hall:
The Arrivals Hall on Level G houses the baggage collection conveyors and Customs inspection. Note the electronic signs indicating the conveyor on which luggage from your flight is due to arrive.
After collecting your baggage, continue to the Customs control and from there to the Welcomers' Hall, which has Baggage trolleys, Lost & Found counters, the Ministry of Tourism counters, and organized groups counters.

5. Welcomer's Hall:
You can meet your family and friends who have been waiting there for your arrival.
Large screens in the Hall constantly display updated arrival info. Car rental company counters and booked taxis counters are also located there.

Pets / Animals at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion TLV Airport

Pets are not allowed at the airport unless they are working dogs or in a safe kennel. Contact your airline as to their requirements. Contact the embassy of your destination country (if you take your animal out of the country) as to required shots and documentation.

Smoking at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion TLV Airport

Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport now has a special smoking areas at the end of each gate hidden near the food and snack area.
