I am coming in to domestic and need to catch an international flight back to USA. How do I get to the international terminal and can I do it with an hour between flights? Is going through customs at the international terminal time consuming?
MEX Airport has two passenger terminals - T1 & T2 - 3 km apart and connected by Airtrain. Access to the platform in T1 is located in the middle of the 'Puente Pilotos' bridge, up the escalator at Gate D; and access to the platform in T2 is through Gate M on one side of the National Arrivals. One hour for transfer is enough.
What airlines are you flying? How much time do you have between flights? You shouldn't have to go though customs in MEX since your first flight is domestic (within Mexico).
we are a group of 7 passengers and looking for a private transportation from Mexico City International Airport to Acapulco. Need to know availability and pricing.
There are some agencies that can help you arrange for a van. I would guess it might cost a few hundred USD. It's a 4-5 hour trip. You could also fly - Aeromexico fares are about $139 USD per person one way right now. Mexican LCC Interjet also flies the route and might be cheaper.
Thanks for the fast response. Do you have contact details for those transportation agencies?
I am landing at MEX on Aeromexico at 6:30pm (1830) on a Thursday night in March. Can I get a bus to Queretaro after I get through customs? How do I purchase a ticket and please tell me what terminal Aeromexico lands at and how do I purchase a bus ticket? Where do I go to get the ticket and board the bus?
On arrival at Terminal 2 of MEX Airport - after going through customs - you can catch the long-distance buses at the Ground Bus Terminal located at the side of T1 & T2, in the international section, to destinations like Cuernavaca, Puebla, Queretaro etc. The Ground Bus Terminal also offers a VIP lounge, internet, resting areas, conference room, reading sections, fast food & shops, as well as currency exchange. A ticket office for 'Foreign Buses' is on the Ground Floor. Can't tell you if buses leave after 7pm. Try to e-mail the airport at firstname.lastname@example.org
