Main Terminal / Concourses at Berlin Schonefeld SXF Airport

The present passenger terminal complex at Schonefeld International Airport consists of four small passenger terminals - TA - TD, - From East to West: TD, small TC is within short walking distance, TA (the largest with 3 levels), and TB (connected to TA at airside).  A designated meeting point is in TA’s main hall/shopping area.

Terminal A* (the ‘main building’), is the oldest, with check-in counters A01-A18, is mainly used by Ryanair. Airside access to gates is shared with TB. TA also houses the Hugo Junkers Lounge (tel: +49 30 6091 6036).  Airline gates for TA/TB are 57-65 at ground level and gates 1-11 on level 2.
Terminal B* has gates 57-65, and check-in counters B20-B29, 3 jetway bridges, boarding gates at Pier 3a., and is used exclusively by easyJet.
Terminal C handles sightseeing trips and flights in connection with special events. (Some flights are operated on a vintage DC-3).
Terminal D*, with airline gates 12-16, is the most recent addition, with check-in counters D40-D57, and is mainly used by airlines Condor and Germanwings.

The new common-use passenger processing solution (CUPPS) is now expediting check-in procedures.
Amenities and services in the passenger terminals include: ATM cash machines, currency exchange, Lost & Found, baggage storage, ravel agencies, Meeting point, restaurants & shops, currency exchange, Internet access, Lost & Found, VIP services, and more. Rental car agencies are located in the pavilion in front of Terminal A.

* Current and future Terminal expansion & new Terminal D2:
 - Terminal B is being expanded by 600 sq.meters on the landside. As of October 2016, TB is making rapid progress (enlarging security checkpoints and check-in areas) and is expected to open year-end 2016.
 - New Arrivals Terminal D2 is being built west of Terminal D (its 'shell' has been completed by September, baggage reclaim carousels started to be installed, and D2 opening is expected by year-end 2016.
 - Terminals A & D are scheduled to be renovated in 2017 (TD will only handle departures; while TA 's first level will function as an airside waiting area. Both TA & TD will receive upgrades of their restaurant & shopping areas. 
 - There will be significantly more available seating, all adding up to a positive passenger experience.
 - Taxiways & aprons will be constructed, whereby the closure of the north runway will be temporarily closed. Therefore, starting July 2017, flights out of Schonefeld will be relocated temporarily to the south take-off & landing runway of BER.
