Security at Billings Logan BIL Airport
Overview Billings Logan International Airport (BLIA) - along with all other U.S. airports - continues to operate at an enhanced level of security. These stricter security measures are expected to continue indefinitely and will impose some constraints on passengers and visitors to the Airport. Airport Police Billings Logan International Airport Police Department provides for the safety and security of the people in and around the Airport.
The Airport Police Office is located on the second floor of the Terminal Building in Room 212. Personnel can be reached at (406) 657-8498. Guidelines Come early – At BLIA, the airlines are requesting that passengers arrive an hour and a half before their scheduled departure. The Terminal Building opens at 4:00 am. No parking in front of Terminal – No unattended vehicles are allowed in front of the Terminal Building. Quick passenger drop-offs and pick-ups are allowed, but you must move your vehicle immediately afterwards. Fines – Parking tickets are now $25, per City Ordinance. Security Screening Security screening of passengers at all commercial airports in the United States is the responsibility of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
