Billund BLL Airport Overview

Billund Airport BLL serves the following cities in Denmark within driving distance: Vejle 28 km; Kolding 41 km; Esbjerg 61 km; and Arhus 98 km. It also has the advantage of being close to the theme park of Legoland in Billund, thereby attracting added passengers.

The Airport is located 2 km or northeast of Billund, central Denmark, and accessible via Route 30 from Highway Exit 57 west of Horsens and just north of the Airport.

With a long runway and 2.7 million passengers in 2012, the airport is served by regular and low-cost airlines serving the Airport offer countless non-stop and one-stop connections to a multitude of European cities, as well as to Iceland. In addition, seasonal flights are available by charters to popular vacation venues.

The new three-level passenger terminal at Billund Airport offers the following services and amenities:
Cash machine, check-in and self-service, money exchange, rental car desk, internet hot spots, Net Cafe, mail box, nursing room, parking payment point, travel agencies, viewing platform, as well as 3 cafes.   You will find a large selection of goods in the tax-free store, and last-minute gift shopping at the gift shops.
The Meeting & Conference Center is located on the third floor of the new passenger terminal. It offers seven rooms, accommodating 2 to 60 persons, including a VIP room, For more information call +45 76 50 5450 / Fax: 5458).
The Departure Hall has two lounges:  (a) King Amlet Lounge (at a fee – for passengers on scheduled flights); (b) Antares Lounge (for groups of more than ten people).

Parking options at Billund Airport: Available parking is the parking garage across from the terminal, and in parking lots P1, P2 & P3 to the right of the terminal entrance,  with P4 & P5 to the left, and P6 below P5. Parking lots are named by countries: P1 (Egypt), P2 Greenland, P3 USA, P4 Australia,  P5 (Kenya), and P6 (Spain).  P1, P5 & P6 offer a free shuttle bus from/to their individual bus shelters.

To get from Billung Airport to your destination, you have the option of renting a car, taking a taxi, a bus or the train:
1. Taxis: Billund-Give Taxi (tel: +45 75 35 35 06), Esbjerg taxi (+45 75 14 45 00), Vejle Taxi (+45 70 20 12 22); Billund Limo Service (+45 75 35 37 77), Aahus Limo Service (+45 70 25 20 05).
2. Buses:  Bus 384 is the Bilund City Shuttle.
The following bus lines stop in front of the passenger terminal at the following stands: 
Stands 1-4 is for charter/tour buses; Stand 5 is for line 117 to Horsens; Stand 6 is for Line 406 to Kolding; Stand 7 is for Line 244 to Grindsted & Vejle; Stand 8 is for Line 907X to Grindsted, Vejle, Stand 9 is for line 913X to Silkeborg & Arhus; Stand 10 is for Line 908X to Brance & Herning; Stand 11 is the Airport bus to Horsens, Skanderbord & Arhus; Stand 12 is the parking shuttle bus; Stands 13-15 are for pre-ordered taxis and limos. 
3. Trains: the nearest railway station on the main line is at Vejle, 28 km from Billund. The frequent bus service between Vejle and Billund connects to the train station, whose trains serve towns like Frederikshavn, Aalborg and east-coast town of Jutland, as well as Odense and towns on Zealand.
