Brest Bretagne BES Airport Overview
Brest Bretagne Airport BES serves the Pais de Lion peninsula in the western-most part of France.
The Airport is located in the community of Guipavas, 10.2 km northeast of Brest, in the Department of Finistere, and is accessible from two highways – one Brest-Morlaix-Rennes (exit 50) and the other Brest-Quimper-Nantes (Exit 60).
With an estimated 900,000 passengers a year Brest Bretagne Airport is presently served by some domestic and international, regular & low-cost airlines, offering direct flights to European cities with connections around the world. Seasonal charter flights are available to popular vacation destinations and have contributed to a noticeable increase in passengers.
The passenger terminal at Brest Bretagne Airport (built in 2007 and open 5am-11pm) has the shape of a manta ray, with its tail leading to the parking facilities. Its forecourt is divided into three zones for public transport, taxis, and quick passenger drop off. Checking in can be done either at the check-in desks, or at express check-in kiosks, or online at the internet point in front of the Air France desk. Its departus level after seucrity check has Immigration, Duty-free, a bar/snack, a Boutique and access to gates 1 to 9.
Services and amenities inside the terminal include: a special baggage carousel for oversized baggage; special unaccompanied children waiting room; food & drink, as well as shop establisments and a duty-free shop; Free Wi-Fi internet access; an ATM cash machine; travel agencies & tour operators, a business / conference center with 4 convertible roomes for up to 120 persons, with available catering (tel. 02 98 328600); and rental cars.
Parking options at Brest Bretagne: Note that the economy lot offers one hour of free parking, ideal for visitors picking up/dropping off passengers.
P1 – two-level parking garage with 430 spaces (incl. 10 disabled spaces on level 0), and connected to the passenger terminal’s center at level 1, ground floor, by elevator and escalators.
P2 – car park with 820 spaces (incl. 12 disabled spaces available at P3 budget fees). The central walkway to the terminal offers weather protection.
P3 - Economy Lot with 1,000 spaces.

To get from Brest Bretagne Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or a bus.
Taxi service is available in front of the passenger terminal for short & long distances. The taxi fare to Brest is EUR about 15/day, 20/night.
A shuttle bus runs between the Airport and the city center of Brest several times a day, stopping at the tourist office, Place Albert 1er, Saint Luc and the railway station, and tickets can be purchased on the bus.
