Bristol Airport ( BRS ) Terminal Map # Fast food, restaurants, stores, cafes, bars
A 450 meter walkway connects the terminal to eight new pre-boarding zones.
The ground level of the passenger terminal is divided into
(a) a check-in area with a set of six self-service kiosks for Air Air France, KLM, Air Southwest & OLT; ticketing and check-in desks, Information counter, food & drink establishments & shop, Moneycorp, FastTrack, mailbox & shower facility; and
(b) separate International & Domestic arrivals with baggage claim areas and Immigration/Passport control.
The first level houses the security check; thereafter passengers enter the Departure lounge with a few shops, WorldDutyFree, food & drink, MoneyCorp, ATM cash machines, mobile phone charging, internet desks & WiFi, gaming, baby change & baby food (at Superdrug) & special assistance points. (The FastTrack kiosk is just before security check.)
This level also leads to boarding gates 1 to 7, with access near gate 5 via escalator to gates 8 to 16, and near WHSmith to gates 23-25.
The central walkway now houses 4 pre-boarding zones which serve 6 departure gates (an additional airbridge for long-haul flights can be added in the future).
The Mezzanine level of the passenger terminal offers food & drink, as well as the Aspire Lounge, with stairs and elevators leading to Ground & First Levels and connects to gates 8-16.
NOTE East and West parts of the passenger terminal extensions have mostly been completed - with West Terminal being twice the size of the East Terminal:
The West Terminal extension by 9,000 sq.meters included an enlarged security area with 10 lanes in the center security check area, and 2 more security channels in a dedicated Fast Track zone. The enlarged area with extended 21-meter lanes enables passengers to simultaneously in prepare for inspection. The new additions include 10 security lanes, and 2 fast-track lanes. Furthermore, the new immigration hall expansion houses 17 passport control points - 10 of which are e-passport gates. There is new reception center, while the Silver Zone carpark was upgraded.
The East Terminal extension included adding 'hundreds' of seats in the departure lounge, new High Sreet brand shops, improved food offerings (with space for a potential second VIP lounge); renovation of baggage processing, and creation of an outdoor terrace with bar & restaurant seating under retractable roof.
