Main Terminal / Concourses at Budapest Liszt BUD Airport
Budapest Liszt Airport's passenger terminals complex has now only one main terminal - Terminal 2 - divided into T2A, Skycourt & T2B).
NOTE:
1. Terminal 1, which ceased regular operations in May 2012, has now been reopened, to be used as an Event Center. Terminal 2, which had been relocated, is now serving both regular and low-cost airlines.
2. Passenger pickup/dropoff at curbside - free for five minutes - is now available at both Departures & Arrivals of Terminal 2.
Terminal 2A , presently with gates A1-13 -has a Departure, Arrivals and Mezzanine level; it serves exclusively Schengen flights. Renovation work over a period of 18 months has been completed and includes a new pier with 8 boarding bridges.
Terminal 2B - presently with gates B1-16 - serves non-Schengen flights, and will have in the future a new 3-level pier attached to it with 8 boarding bridges to handle both Schengen & non-Schengen traffic. Terminal 2B is now being renovated.
The new centralized Skycourt serves as connector between T2A & T2B, with seating areas in the center and quality concessions on one side.
Services and amenities in the terminals include food & drink and retail establishments, duty-free shop, rental car counters, Go4Travel agecy, Secure luggage wrapping; currency exchange, post office, a business center, and 'Tourinform' tourist information.
