Bydgoszcz Ignacy Jan Paderewski Airport BZG
serves the area of north-central Poland and its city of Bydgoszcz. It is operated by the Port Lotniczy Bydgoszcz S.A.
The Airport is located 3 km south of the city center of Bydgoszcz, next to the exit road for Inowroclaw, and 40 km from Torun, as well as 38 km from Inowroclaw.
With an estimated yearly passenger count of 337,000, Bydgoszcz Airport is mainly served by Ryanair & LOT with direct flights to selected European cities. Some seasonal charters are also available.
Passengers should check in 2 hours prior to scheduled international flights and one hour prior to domestic flights; and arrive at the departures hall 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
The passenger terminal at Bydgoszcz Airport
, with its futuristic design, is air-conditioned and equipped with an electronic monitoring network. It offers an Information Center, a coffee bar, news stands, shops and a restaurant. The Post Office, which opens 2 hrs prior to Ryanair landing, offers services for money exchange, registered mail and postal orders.
After going through passport control, you arrive at the departures hall housing restaurant, shop, and the mother-and-child facilities. Upon aircraft landing, there will be a boarding call for passengers to board the aircraft ; have boarding pass and identity document wich your photo at ready to show at checkpoint, then board the bus to the aircraft.
NOTE: Ongoing passenger terminal expansion was completed during 2016 - adding a duty-free shop, VIP lounge, childen's corner and cafes.
