Carcassonne CCF Airport Overview

Carcassonne Airport Sud de France CCF (also known as Salvaza Airport) serves southern France's  Department of Aude.
The Airport is located on Route de Montreal, at the northern edge of the town of Carcassonne (3 km from city center) and south of Languedoc-Roussillon,  and is easily accessible from motorway A61, junction 23 - follow 'Mazamet' sign - and can be reached from Toulouse via motorway A64. Close-by cities are Caux-et-Sauzens, Cazilhac, Lavalette & Pannautier. 

Note that the Airport’s opening/closing times differ from Summer/Winter seasons: During the winter season Nov-Mar, it is open 7 days/wk, Mon, Fri & Sun 8:30am-6pm; Tues 10am-5pm; Wed, Thu & Sat 10am-6pm. During Summer season Apr-Oct, it is open Mon & Wed 9:15am-4:45pm; Tues, Thur & Fri 9:15am-6pm; Sat 10am-6pm; Sun 10am-3pm.

With an estimated 400,000 passengers per annum, Carcassonne Airport is served by national and international, as well as low-cost airlines, and offers seasonal charter flights to popular vacation destinations.

It is recommended to arrive two hours prior to scheduled flight – check-in closes 40 minutes prior thereto.

The small passenger terminal at Carcassone Airport offers free WiFi access, rental car counters, some food & drink and retail concessions.
