- The new Concessionaire Fraport Greece, which is now managing 14 Greek Airports, is starting to make much-needed upgrades to each of those airports, including Chania.
The Airport is located on the Akrotiri Penisula, near Souda Bay, on Crete Island. In the summer season, and is open 24/7. The City of Chania is the Country's most beautiful city.
