I'm arriving in Charlotte at 3:28pm from Dallas . My next flight to Frankfurt will be at 4:40pm. Is there any chance to get this flight ???

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

that would be good. Thanx for your fast response :-)

I only have a 40 minute layover to change gates from B14 to D9, Charlotte to cancun, carry on luggage only, will that be enough time?

Yes, if your first flight is on-time that is enough time.

I am arriving in Charlotte from Cancun at 6:40pm. My next flight to Charleston is at 7:44pm. Will this be enough time to go through customs if I am not checking any bags?

With no checked bags you have a chance. However, it depends on the security lines being short after you clear immigration and customs.

Family of 4 (2 kiddos) booked a round trip with AA from Kansas City MO to Cancun. AA put us on a direct flight to Cancun. However on way home they have us booked on a 60 min layover at CLT. From other posts I've read it says 60 mins will not be enough & we will miss our flight home. I called AA & they said this is very doable so they will not put us on another flight. What should I do? Is this doable?

On the way to Cancun that is very doable. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Are you talking about the flight to Cancun or From Cancun? the Procedures are quite different.

Home from Cancun to Kansas City AA said 60 min layover is ample time?!?!

I have 45 minutes between 2 domestic flights (memphis-charlotte then Charlotte-JFK), both AA. As I will have luggage checked, I wonder whether this is not too short? Thanks!

It is possible. All gates in Charlotte are connected inside security.

I am arriving from SJO Costa Rica at 910p. my connection to JFK is an hour later. WIll i have enough time. Do i need to get bag and clear custom then recheck bag?

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. This is well below the minimum recommended international to domestic connection time at CLT, although with the late evening arrival it may be possible. Be prepared to spend the night in Charlotte.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Traveling Providence-Nassau with an hour layover in Charlotte both american, then home is Nassau-Providence with connection in Charlotte same as above an hour same airline. Do we have to go through customs at all or is that just the return but done in Nassau so just have to go gate to gate? I want to ensure we can make it. Thanks so much

On your return you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Nassau. Both directions all you have to do in Charlotte is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have enough time.

I am booking a ticket from London to Louisville in April. I have the option of going via Charlotte with a 1:39 layover or Atlanta with 1:52. Could I make any of these connections? Which one is most reliable?

They're about equivalent. Charlotte is a much smaller, simpler airport though.

Thank you! So, unless there is an unexpected delay, 1h39 should be enough to go through immigration, customs, bag rechecking, and security at Charlotte.

We are booking a RETURN flight out of Dominican Republic to Chicago. The layover in Charlotte is 2 hour 11 minutes. I'm assuming this is sufficient time to get through a standard customs line, yes?

Yes, that should be enough time.
