The online maps of CLT make it look like getting from Gate E-17 to B-2 is a bit of hike, but not too bad. However, tomorrow is the day after Thanksgiving and I only have 45 minutes from scheduled inbound flight arrival and scheduled outbound flight leaving the gate, should I be concerned? Also, both flights are American, so if flight A is late do they notify the folks at the gate for flight B to wait a few extra minutes?
Im looking at flying from Glasgow to Charlotte and then onto Orlando - the connection for the flight in Orlando is 1 hour and 15 minutes after arrival time in Orlando. However presumably I'd have to clear immigration, claim baggage, recheck baggage, go through security and then make it in time for the flight. Is this possible? I have no prior experience with how busy this airport is. There is a later connection, but it's almost double the price. Not sure what's the best thing to do!
38 mins enough to go from terminal b to terminal d
Charlotte only has one terminal. B and D are concourses. Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time but it doesn't leave much time to spare.
Flying in on America airlines and have 30 min layover to catch another American flight .Will 30 minutes be enough of a layover for my checked baggage to make the connecting flight?
It's enough time if the first flight is on-time but leaves no time to spare. If you can do without checked bags, then that's the way I would go.
Our flight from Syracuse will land at 10:33 am, our connecting flight, to Mexico, is scheduled to leave at 11:30 am, I'm not sure what gate we are flying in or out of, but, will we have enough time to make the connection?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thank you, ZAP. We are flying American Airlines, do you know if they stop boarding 45 minutes before scheduled take off?
No, they don't.
Im flying in thanksgiving day at 8:50 am. I have a 30 minute layover and need to get to gate b4 from gate c11. Is this enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I only have a little over hour layover (Antigua-Buffalo) do I have to get my bags rechecked at customs,or is there a pre-customs spot in Antigua ? How far is customs from the American Airlines terminal? Baggage claim?
Charlotte only has one terminal. Yes, in Charlotte you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security.
I am looking at flights in May leaving PLS in Turks & Caicos, arriving in CLT then connecting to RIC for Richmond. The flight would be on a Friday or Saturday with a 6:30pm arrrival, one layover option is 1 hour 45 mins and the other connection is 3 hours 55 minutes. Ideally I don't want an almost 4 hour layover. Is 1 hr 45 mins enough time to clear customs and make a connection to Richmond? I have never flown internationally through CLT so any advice is appreciated.
1 hr 45 mins is enough time.
I have 40 mins to get from gate E7 to gate B12. Is that doable?
Yes, that is possible if the first flight is on-time.
I will be flying from Chattanooga to Ft Lauderdale via Charlotte the first week of January on AA. Will 54 minutes be enough of a layover for my checked baggage to make the connecting flight?

Yes, that is enough time.
