Flying through CLT on Sat., arriving at gate E35A and departing from B7 with connecting time 55 mins. Flying through CLT again on Mon. arriving at gate D9, deparing from E38B with 58 mins to transfer. From what I've read here it should be enough assuming my flights are on time and people are deplaneing pretty smoothly. I have a question though, how much time it usually takes to get from the end of concourse E to B (looking at terminal map it seems pretty far away) and from concourse D to the end of concourse E. I really can't allow myself to miss any of those connecting flights.
All answers and advice are greatly appreciated.
It should be enough time. The Charlotte Airport isn't really that big.
Thank You, Zap!
Can you tell me how long it would take to walk at a normal pace from the far end of terminal B to the far end of terminal E?
E and B are just concourses, not terminals. It should take less than 20 minutes.
Thank you!
This looks like along distance between gates for a connection any comments?
It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.
Thank you
I am flying from Nola to Charlotte have a 56min layover before I go to Grand Rapids. The flight says 70% on time will I have time
That should be enough time. All you have to do in Charlotte is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
We are flying from Louisville to Grand Cayman on a Sunday. Flight leaves Louisville at 9:20 with expected arrival of 10:57 and 36 minute layover in CLT and flight leaving for Cayman at 11:30. We're flying American Airlines. Should go from terminal E to D. Does this give us enough time to make our flight before they close the doors before departure? We are checking one bag and carrying on all others. Is this also enough time for our bags to make it to the next flight as well? We are flying AA for both flights.

Also, is there a chance that since we're flying AA for both that if the flight leaving for Grand Cayman knew they had passengers coming from another AA flight would they wait a few minutes longer if not everyone has made it yet?
Charlotte only has one Terminal. E and D are just concourses. They usually don't hold flights. You have enough time but obviously only if the flight from Louisville is on-time.
I will be arriving to CLT from Miami on September 18 (Sunday) at 8:37am and I my connection to Los Angeles will be departing at 9:30am which is only one hour later. All are American Airlines flights. Is it enough time to make it even if I have checked luggage? Is my luggage going to make it with me?
Yes, that should be enough time.
Arrive on American at CLT from LEX at 10:53 am and leave for BOS at 11:30am,
Can you please tell me what gate at CLT I will be arriving at and what gate I will leave from and how far are they from each other?
You won't know the exact gates until the day of your flight.
I will be returning to the UK, flying from Louisville, connecting in Charlotte for my flight to London, both on AA. I only have a 55 minute connection time, will this be enough time. Will I go straight to the gate or will I gave to reclaim and recheck in luggage / customs etc?
All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Immigration or customs when leaving the US. You have enough time.
I received a notice saying my flight from Tampa to CLT would be an hour later than planned. This only gives me one hour to connect to my 2nd AA flight to St. Maarten. Have to check luggage.
1. Is that enough time to make my connection? It is in early December, early morning flight.
2. Would my luggage be put on my connecting flight? What are chances that this wouldn't happen in time? What would happen if my luggage didn't get there? Would AA put it on a later flight and I'd have to get it at the airport in SXM?? Thanks
If both flights are on AA on the same reservation you do not have to do anything with your bags in Charlotte on your way to St. Maarten.
B3 to C9 how much time will that take??
I have a flight from Denver to Charlotte / then from Charlotte to Paris.
The layover is 1 hour. I was told when I booked my flight that this would be enough time to get from one terminal to another. Is it?
Charlotte only has one Terminal. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
It has one terminal but 5 concourses. It should be enough time to use the bathroom and get to another concourse if you have to.
