I am flying from STL to CLT and have a connection in 45 minutes from CLT to BDL. Is this much time enough for the connection ?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I fly into Charlotte from Harrisburg PA tomorrow night and arrive in concourse E. Then I fly out of Charlotte to Nashville from a gate in concourse B. If eiverything is on time, I'll have just under an hour between flights. Is this enough time to make the distance between the gates? How do I get from E to B without going back out? How long will it take to get from one to the other? Thanks!
Yes, that is enough time. All gates are connected inside security. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to go between gates.
I am connecting between 2 delta flts at CLT. I have 41 minutes. incoming flt from MCI departing flt to TPA. Is that enough time, do I have to go thru security again?
Delta does not fly from Kansas City to Charlotte or Charlotte to Tampa. Please double check your reservation.
I am flying from Buffalo (driving from Canada) and connecting in Charlotte to St Maarten. Carry on. is 1 hour enough to connect to the St maarten leg? Will I have to clear customs again?
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Charlotte on the way to St. Maarten is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Thank you, does this apply on the run back? St M to Charlotte to TO. 75 min connection time
On the way back, you will have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security. With no checked bags you should have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Flight lands in CLT from GSP @ 8:30. Flight leaves CLT for RSW @ 9:25. Will I have to change terminals and, if so, will I have enough time to get to my departure gate before they close the doors?
Charlotte only has one Terminal. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the flight from GSP is on-time.
I shall be arriving to Charlotte from London and catch another flight to Peoria. The lay in period in Charlotte is only 2 hours. Since Charlotte is the port of entry to US, I do not know whether that 2 hours time will be suffiicient enough to complete the immigration formalities and boarding in the Charlotte to Peoria domestic flight. Can any please clarify?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi! I have a flight from Finland to New Orleans but the first layover is at new york and the second is at Charlotte.. so supposedly I'll deal with immigration already in New York but my flight is landing to charlotte at 9.10pm and the flight to New Orleans leaves at 10.40pm. Is that enough time for me to catch the flight? Thanks!
Ps. I got one checked bag. The airline changes between Finland and JFK but JFK-MSY american airlines.
Yes, that is plenty of time. All you have to do in Charlotte is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thanks. Do I have to go through security though?
No, you do not.
Flying into CLT from GCN on American with a connection to Denver. We won't have any checked bags, just carry-on. Is 1 hour enough time to make it through customs/immigration and to the next gate?
With carry-ons only it's possible if everything goes perfectly, but it's well below the recommended minimum time.
We are flying from MBJ to ORD with a stop in CLT for 87 minutes. We will have checked baggage. Is this enough time to go through customs, recheck bags, go through security, and get to the new gate? It will be landing at 2:58 pm on a Thurday and departing at 4:25 pm. Do I need to try to get a later flight and pay a change fee?
That is a difficult connection. However, you are not required to pay a change fee. I would try it and if you miss your connection, American will rebook you to Chicago. It is possible if everything goes smoothly.
Hi all, I am checking flights to Cuba and the only options in my days is to fly to Charlotte and that means 17 hours connection. I am Spanish and I was wondering if is possible to leave the airport for sleeping in a hotel until my next flight. What do we need to do? Thanks!
Yes, when you arrive in the US you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, and go through US Customs and then are free to go where you want. Spanish citizens do not require a visa to visit the US. You just have to complete ESTA.
