Not a flyer so feeling lost but want to be prepped, ok on flight there but will picking up my gdaughter to fly her back with me. With only carryon bag purse stroller (and a 1 yr old) will I be able to maneuver from one flight to another AA in a tad less than an hour it will be late too so are there places to grab drinks or snacks nearby?

I'm assuming by "BHAM" you mean Birmingham, Alabama? Yes, you have enough time, but you barely have enough time to stop for food.

I only have 1hr 4 min for this transfer; is this enough, all flights are with AA and do I have to uplift any luggage and will this go through to my final destination with is New Zealand

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Nassau. If all tickets are on the same reservation your bags will go straight through to New Zealand. All you have to do in Charlotte is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

We are arriving from SKB saturday night at 8:39PM and have to board at 10:00PM to LGA. Do you think it is enough to make the connection, knowing we don't have any bag to check ? Thanks

Yes, with no checked bags and an evening arrival, that should be enough time.

    Thank you for your answer

I must connect AA 2055 (from Tampa) ETA 1:45 to AA 2249 (to Newark) ETD 3:10 and hope they are in the same terminal. Agent could not tell me.

Charlotte only has one terminal. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.

Tyvm...do you think all AA flights are in the same area?

AA uses almost the entire airport.

Flying from Frankfurt, Germany over Charlotte Douglas airport and then Miami airport to Lima, Peru. I only have 1hour 20minutes each between those flight. Is it possible to that? I'm arriving in the afternoon, so I guess it takes even longer.

That is very difficult, bordering on impossible.

Looking at a flight back from SXM to IND on Sept 25 with American Airlines. The layover in Charlotte is only 1 hr and 4 min. Is that enough time to get thru customs, etc and make the connection?

Realistically, no, that's not enough time.

  • 45 minute layover enough for international travel?

Flying from Columbus Ohio to Nassau Bahamas but we have a 45 minute layover in Charlotte. Is this enough time to make the connection? Wasn't sure if luggage has to go through security again. Thx.

You nor your luggage has to go through security again. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Does American Airline only use Concourse A? Just making sure can make connection. Thanks

No, American Airlines uses concourses B, C, D, and E. The only one they do not use is A. All concourses are connected inside security.

If I'm flying from New Orleans to myrtle beach is a 36 min layover at CLT doable?

It's possible but obviously leaves no time to spare if the flight from New Orleans is delayed.

That's barely enough time if everything goes smoothly.
