Hi! AA change our flight time and we now have 61 mins between our two AA flights in CLT. Is this enough time for us and will our baggage make it to the next plane and our final destination? We're leaving for vacation and are trying to avoid screw ups! We are flying AA First Class/Business Class on both flights.
That is enough time if the first flight is domestic.
Thanks...Do you think our luggage will make the connection too with only 61 mins?
That shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks...Keeping our fingers crossed!😀
I'm looking at some AA flights that are from London into CLT then on to Miami. It's only giving me 1:40 connection time. Is that enough to get through security and recheck through?
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. In Charlotte you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
We have a 44 minute layover in Charlotte - arrive at C9, depart at E26. Is this enough time if the first flight is on time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I arrive at 5:07 at terminal B from Boston. Next flight is at 5:54 to Tampa. Does this allow for enough time? Both are on American.
Charlotte only has one terminal. B is a concourse. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
So I arrive at B and depart from C. Sorry. I should have mentioned this. Is this 40 minutes enough time? Hoping flight in is not delayed at all.
It is possible, but it leaves no time to spare if there are any delays.
We were just informed that our AA flight times from PHL through CLT to OAJ have changed and our almost 2 hour layover is now just 37 minutes. Will we make it?
It's possible but there's literally no time to spare if there are any delays whatsoever.
I am flying American Airlines into CLT from Nashville and making a connection to Pittsburg, PA. I only have a 54 min layover... is 54 min going to be enough time to connect?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
is 50 min. enough time to make connecting flight to Orlando
Where are you flying into Charlotte from?
We are flying in from Peoria, iL
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All gates in Charlotte are connected inside security.
what does connected inside mean
It means you can walk from any gate to any gate without having to go through security.
What about checked baggage? Is that enough time for it to be transferred to the connecting plane?
Yes, you don't have to do anything with your checked bags in Charlotte.
thank you for all your help. we made our connection with no problems. your reply's were very helpful to first time fliers. thanks again
If I have a 1hour 20 min connection time from Cancun landing in CLT, will that be enough time to clear customs?
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I am flying from Charleston to DFW with a 50 minute window for connection. Is that enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Charleston is on-time.
We are Canadians flying in from Grand Cayman Islands at 4:20 p.m. and catching a connecting American flight to Las Vegas at 6:05 p.m. Do we clear customs in Charlotte and do we have enough time to make connecting flight? Thanks!
Yes, in Charlotte you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
