Hello. I have a flight from Rome (FCO) to Charlotte (CLT) to LAX. The layover in CLT is only for 1hr and 15 min. Is that enough time to get through customs and board my connecting flight to LAX? Thank you!
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Is it possible for old, slow walker to get from terminal c8 to b12 in under 30 min. Can transportation be arranged?
You answered yes and to call American for wheelchair assistance if needed. Thanks again.
If I book a connection through CLT to/from Great Exuma Bahamas is an hour layover long enough for customs both ways? I'm looking at DCA-CLT-GGT (and reverse).
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. So it's enough time on the way to GGT. It's pretty difficult on the way back.
I am going through Charlotte from Cancun going to Norfolk Va I have a 1 hour and 30 min layover is this enough time to get through customs and get to my next flight?
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
where is the currency exchange booth located in airport? Also, can I use a credit card to purchase foreign currency
On average , how quickly could one go through customs coming from Costa Rica into Charlotte? Would a layover if 1 hour, 24 minutes be sufficient?
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
How long a walk from the American Airlines / American Eagle terminal (not sure of the gate number yet) to the airplane itself? Is it via skybridge, tram, etc??
There are no skybridges or trams in Charlotte. All gates are in the same building and connected inside security.
Thank you, so can I assume it is a short walk to the plane from the gate?
You can walk between any two gates in Charlotte in about 15 minutes.
Gate E8 to E17 might take up to 15 minutes?
I am travelling from SJC to JFK

And I have a flight change over at CLT, will I be required Transit visa even for change over of flight ?
California, North Carolina, and New York are all located in the United States of America. Why on Earth would you need a "Transit Visa" for a domestic flight?
I'm nervous we won't make our connecting flight due to going through customs. I am not familiar with this airport. We land at 4:40 pm and our connecting flight is at 6:25 pm. Will we have time to go through customs, get our bags and recheck? Any help would be great! Thank you!
Where are you flying from and to?
From Punta Cana to CLT
And the CLT to San Francisco
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You should have enough time.
We have a friend who is flying back home to Italy from their first visit to the U.S.

Are we allowed to walk back with them and wait until they board the plane?
No, you are not.
