  • Domestic to International Connection

Hi. I'm an international traveller travelling from MCI to LHR, I'm looking at a flight with a connection of 1hour, 22 minutes. Does anyone have any idea as to whether this connection would be adaquate? Thanks!

Yes that should be plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I will be arriving from MSP and have connecting flight with 32 minute to change planes. Same airline wondering if this is enough time? US Airways flight

If your first flight is on-time, yes it is barely enough. All gates at CLT are connected beyond security and it's not a huge airport (a little smaller than the Lindbergh terminal at MSP).

  • I lost my iPad on a US Airways flight on 8/1/2013

I lost my IPAD on 8/1/13, and I think I left it on the plane. I was on a US Airways flight 1979, Aircraft A320, seat 8D, and my flight was from Newark to CLT. My flight was at 1:14 p.m. and I arrived in Charlotte at 3:05 p.m. My IPAD is white, in a gray cover case. Serial # DMQHGHHTDKPH. I believe the IPAD fell out of my bag while tucked under the seat in front of me, so may not be exactly where I sat on the plane. There is a reward if you found it and return it to me. To contact me, please respond to this post and provide your contact information and I will get in touch with you.

You need to contact your airline.

I left my Kindle on an US airways arriving in CLT on 04/06 coming in from Ft. Lauderdale in an exit row seat. Please help

Contact US Airways, but it's unlikely you'll get it back.

  • Connection time for international flight

Planing a vacation to Orlando in June 2013 flying Dublin - CLT on a Monday afternoon with 1 hour 20 min to make connection to MCO. On the return leg I have 1 hour 11 minutes to make international connection to Dublin. All flights with United. Are these layover times sufficient to comfortably make connections?

Note that none of your flights will actually be on United. They will be on US Airways. Connecting to your flight to Orlando will be tight because you will have to clear customs and CLT can get backed up when all the transatlantic flights arrive at the same time. However, there are other flights to Orlando and if you miss your connection you'll be booked on one of those. On your way back to Ireland you should be fine since you don't have to clear customs as long as your first flight is on time.

Thank you ZAP. Yes you are quite right, all flights are with US Airways. My error. We can preclear immigration in Dublin so saved that chore in CLT leaving us to deal with customs only so I hope that helps.

Yes, I forgot that Dublin has preclearance. You should be fine then as long as your flight is relatively on time.

  • Lost LG Cosmos 2 Phone

On December 17 I lost my phone while directly walking between the 2 gates (not on either plane). I had a friend call, but got no response. I'm happy to pay shipping, etc, if the phone is found, but not having luck contacting anyone.

Gate areas are usually the domain of airlines - you should contact your airline. Another option is to call CLT Airport's Lost & Found at 704-359-8765 or email lostandfoun@cltairport.com; after 4 pm leave message indicating your name, phone number, e-mail address, date & location of item lost, description of item - including cell phone number, carrier & brand.

  • Connecting flights and luggage

I am traveling to El Paso, Texas, and I have to change planes at DFW. Will I have to pick my luggage up from the baggage claim and re-check it at DFW?

That depends on the airline(s) you take - some airlines do not transfer bags to the other airline's connecting flight - contact your airline.
