is there reasonable transportation available between ohare and midway? i need to take a bus to rockford from midway, but the buses are less frequent from midway than o'hare.

You can take the CTA Blue Line to Clark/Lake and then the CTA Orange Line to Midway, but that will take almost 2 hours.

what can I take from Chicago midway to Rensselaer, Indiana?

The cheapest and fastest route would be to rent a car. if that's not an option you can take the CTA Orange Line to the loop and walk to Union station. You can then take the Amtrak Cardinal/Hoosier State train to Rensselaer. However, note that that train only operates once daily from Chicago at 5:45 PM, so you would have to arrive into Midway by 3 PM for this to be reasonable. There is no scheduled bus service to Rennselaer

I need to get from MDW to W Risemont Ave on 2/2. What train or bus route do I take?

W Rosemont Ave is several miles long. What cross-street? The CTA Orange Line goes directly to Midway, but where you take it and what you take after that depends where on W Rosemont Ave you're going.
