I have 1 Hour 15 minutes layover ABE - ORD to my final trip to Puntacana. United Airlines with Expressjet The reservation marks a Terminal Change, i dont now if the terminal for United by Express Jet is far o close to United departing to PUJ.
I am arriving in Chicago, after having cleared customs in Canada, with 1 hr 10 minute layover before my connection. Both of my flights are United, so I believe this means they will be in the same Terminal. Is that correct? I am also wondering if this is enough time, when I look in Kayak it says that the Gate Time for my second flight is 6:15, but I am assuming this doesn't mean boarding time. The actual flight time is 7:40 and I land at 6:29 (if all goes according to plan).
If I check a bag will I have to grab it again? How long does it take to go through security typically? I've never been to this airport today.
All you have to do in Chicago if both flights are on United and you pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Canada is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All United gates are connected inside security.
Hi. We have 1 hour 50 minutes layovertime, we will arrive from London at terminal 5 time:15:00 and leave from terminal 3 time 16:50 to Denver, Is that enough time? it feels thet we will have tou run :)
It's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
The both flight are on American Airlines on one ticket, will that help?
Yes, that helps, what would help more is not having checked bags.
I have a 1h29min window from landing to my next flight leaving. I arrive at Terminal 5 and leave from Terminal 1 im worried I wont have time to get my connecting flight can anyone help?
Sorry forgot to say im flying with United Airlines
Yes, realistically that will be VERY difficult. You will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, take the ATS Train to T1 and go through security and to your departure gate.
Thanks for the reply, I thought it was cutting it fine this has been arranged for me by a travel company so im surprised they haven't noticed or realised the implications of such a short layover for the connecting flight. Im getting them to change the flight if it means a longer layover
Hi, my mom, who doesn't speak english very good, is traveling for her first time to the US. She will be coming in from Amsterdam in Chicago with a 3h layover until her flight to Las Vegas. Will it be enough time for her to catch her connection? And what exactly is the procedure once she gets to Chicago? Does she have to pick up her checked bag even if she is traveling with the same carrier (United)?
She will arrive in Terminal 5, go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, take the ATS Train to Terminal 1, go through security and to her departure gate. She has enough time.
