I am flying from YYZ (Toronto) to Las Vegas via ORD (Chicago)on American arriving at Terminal 3 and then flying out of Terminal 3 with 1hr 20 min layover. Do I need to collect my bags and clear immigration and customs and then recheck my bags
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Chicago is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hello' never ever flown before! My layover in Chicago with United Airlines to Toronto is 50mins! I will also have checked luggage too...
Is that enough time? Thanks!
Where are you flying into Chicago from?
I'm going from Melb, to LA, LA to Chicago, Chicago to Toronto

how long does it take to go to baggage claim terminal 2 to ticketing terminal 5
15-20 minutes on the ATS Train.
Flying in August PIT, ORD,SEA with United. Is 1 hour and 24 minutes enough time to connect. Will arrive ORD 7:57 a.m. We are sort of older and wondered if there are there moving walkways between gates or terminals if we need to change terminals. Thank you!
Yes, that is enough time. Walking distances for United Flights at ORD are usually not too bad.
Hi,

I am flying in from Ottawa, Canada on United. My flight arrives at 6:25 PM at ORD. My SFO connection also on United is at 7:20 PM. That's a 55 minute connection time. I know United operates from T1, but with immigration involved, can I make it in time for the SFO flight? I don't have checked luggage.

Thanks,
AK

I have a flight Sunday on LOT. I can book the connection from Florida on UAL (Star Alliance partner), check my bags all the way through, and have 2+45 layover to go from terminal 1 to 5. I'd rather take AA and arrive in terminal 3 with a 2+20 (for FF miles)layover. I know I'd have to claim my bags and recheck them on LOT. Do you think I'd have time? Thanks
I think the AA connection would be pretty risky.
I'm fling to ORD on AA and then connecting to BA. Is the air-side shuttle still operating between T3 to T5 for BA's travelers? I have a tight connection at ORD.
Yes, it still operates, but it only ones about once for every BA flight.
Wanted thoughts on connection times. United.
CLT-OMA Sat. 5/20 Arrive: Flight 4667 Depart: Flight 1821 Connection time: 59m

OMA-CLT Mon 5/22 Arrive: Flight 5556 Depart: Flight 3567 Connection time: 48m

What say you?
Yes, both of those are possible. All United gates in Chicago are connected inside security.
I booked flights from Edinburgh to Bozeman with about a 4 hour layover. Now united has changed my return flight (they don't run the direct flight to Bozeman at that time anymore apparently) and my flight from EDI lands at 2:35 and I've got a connecting flight to Denver at 4:13. Is there any hope of making this connection with re checking bags, immigration and security?
That is enough time but leaves very little to spare.
Hi! I'm flying in to O'Hare the 4th of August from Europe and am changing flights to another airline, domestic. How long do I need to get through security and get to terminal 1 and then go through security again? Is three hours enough? Thanks in advance
Yes, 3 hours should be just about enough time.
