I presume you are going through US customs clearance in Canada. If you use two different airlines, make sure the one departing from Canada transfers your bags to your Paris connection. If not, you need to pick up your bag and re-check it in with your next airline. On arrival, look for the ATS train sign connecting all terminals. The rain runs every few mins. You have enough time.

You do not have to take the ATS from terminal 2 to Terminal 1. Just follow the signs and walk. It takes like 10 minutes at most.

The International Terminal at ORD is Terminal 5 with a long Concourse M which wraps around the concessions Court; it has to the left (gates M12-M21) and to the right (gates M7-M1), and extends northward in the center to gates M8-M11 (prepare yourself for long walks from check-in to gates). Concourse K of Terminal 3 has gates K1-20.

There is no "terminal b". Concourse B is part of terminal 1.

You arrive via US Airways at Terminal 2 and need to transfer to your departing flight via Turkish Airlines at Terminal 1. You need to contact US Airways to find out if they transfer your bags; if not, you will need to claim your bags first at the arrivals level and from there take the pedestrian tunnel to T1, go up to departure level and check them in with Turkish; then proceed through security check & on to your connecting gate. If no bag transfer is needed, proceed to Terminal 1 the following way: the secured area, which is the upper level (Departures) has, right after you walk from gate F8 past gate F1, at right end a connector to Terminal 1 (with B & C gates), where you will arrive again in the secured area, and where you should proceed to nearby gate B6, walk past gate B8 (at right), take walkway to C gates, turn left to gate C15.

Sadec, please stop giving wrong advice. US Airways does not fly from Minneapolis to Chicago. Your flight will probably be operated by United or United Express and arrive at terminal 1 or 2. United will be able to check your bags through to Turkish if all your flights were booked on the same reservation. The bags will be checked through to Addis Ababa but you will have to claim and recheck in Istanbul. 1:30 is a tight connection from Terminal 1/2 to Terminal 5 (where your Turkish flight will depart from) at ORD. Hope that your flight is on time. Please disregard sadec's "advice" as it is completely wrong. You will need to take the ATS train from Terminal 1/2 to Terminal 5.

1. Find out from British if they will transfer your bags to your American flight. If not, you need, after customs clearance, take your bag and check it in at T3's AA counter at the departures level. 2. Upon arrival at O'Hare Airport, at T5, you need to go through passport check, pick up bags and go through customs clearance. After exiting the Federal Inspection and luggage re-check areas, proceed up one level to the Airport Transit System (ATS train, running every few mins) where you can easily connect to T3 for domestic flights. 3. Either way you need to go through security check at T3, before proceeding to your gate. T3 has Concourses (with corresponding gates) G, H, K & L - American most likely uses gates L1-10.

British Airways will check your bag through to American as long as you bought your tickets on the same reservation. You will drop your bags with American in the basement of T5 and then go upstairs and take the ATS train to Terminal 3. American uses almost all gates in T3, not just L as sadec suggests.

Yes, you have to go through security again, the ATS runs near the curbside in the "non-sterile" part of the terminal.

1. You need to find out from Iberia whether they will transfer bags to the American Airline connecting flight - not all airlines do - in which case your parents would need, after customs clearance, take their bags along to Terminal 3, and check them in at the Departures level at the AA counter. On arrival at ORD, follow other passengers as they need to go through passport check, pick up bags & go through customs clearance and (if Iberia transfers bag) - re-check-in bags where indicated. 2. At T3 they may have to go through security check before proceeding, on the Departures level, to their Concourse & gate. Iberia should check your bags through on the American flight assuming they were bought on the same reservation since Iberia and American are codeshare partners in OneWorld. They should be able to drop their bags after collection and customs in T5 for their AA flight, so they'll just have to take the ATS from T5 to T3 which is just one stop. Yes, they will have to go through security again in T3. The ATS stop is on the departure level, but you have to go up and over the access road, to get to the actual departure level. Regardless, the departure level is easy to find from the T3 ATS stop.

At ORD, United uses Terminals 1, 2 & 5 (T5 is for United international arrivals only). T1 has Concourse B with gates B1-22 & C with gates C1-32; T2 has Concourse E with gates E1A-15 and Concourse F with gates F1-14 & n its lower level gates F11A, B & C. The ATS shuttle train runs every few minutes between Terminal 5's and domestic terminals 1, 2 & 3. Look on arrival at overhead screen to find your connecting flight & gate number. You have enough time. thnov, please stop leaving boilerplate responses - they aren't helpful. You can walk between your ORF flight and YVR flight without having to go through security. You will arrive in Terminal 2 and depart from Terminal 1. They are connected. Worst case walk time is about 20 minutes, so 1hr 35 minutes is plenty of time.

He just said his connection is within T2! Why are you posting all this copy+paste gobbledygook tunov that doesn't apply to this situation? Terminal 2 is small and only really has 1 concourse (E and F are really just 2 branches of the same concourse), you can easily get between any of the two gates within 47 minutes.

On arrival at ORD at Terminal 5 (for all international arrivals) you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes), then proceed up one level to the Airport Transit System (ATS) station and take the train to your connecting terminal. The ATS shuttle train runs every few minutes between Terminal 5's ATS level & the and domestic terminals 1, 2 & 3. The overhead screens on arrival will indicate which terminal, concourse & gate you will depart from (depending on which airline you use). T1 has gates B1-22, and C1-31; T2 has gates E1-E15 & F1-14; T3, with Concourses G, H, K & L has corresponding gates. Your time would suffice if (a) your incoming flight is on time and lines are 'normal'; (b) if your bags will be automatically transferred to your connecting gate (find out) - if not, you would have to re-check-in your bags with the airline heading to Dulles.

I don't think you have enough time. you need at least 3-4 hours to get checked and move around if you are lucky enough

If arriving and departing via United Airlines, note that United uses Terminals 1, 2 & 5. T1 has B & C gates, T2 has E & F gates and T5 has M gates. On arrival look up at the screens to find your departing flight & gate; then follow signs to the ATS shuttle train running every few mins between the terminals. You have enough time.

Your arrival and departure gates will both be in T1. If your MSP-ORD flight is on-time you will be fine.
