Hello, I am flying from Orlando to Vancouver via Chicago and only have 56 mins to change the flight. Is that enough time? Would I need to take a train to another terminal? thanks
Yes, that is enough time if your flight is on-time. No, you do not have to take a train. Your gates will be connected inside security.
I am flying into Ohare from South Carolina and then catching a flight to Ireland. Is one hour and 55 minutes enought time to make that connecting flight if I need a wheelchair
What airlines are you flying?
flying in on united and out on aer lingus
Then you have just enough time. You will arrive in Terminal 1 or 2 and depart from Terminal 5, so they will have to take you on the ATS Train to Terminal 5 and through security again.
My wife has a pair of UA flights going from Vancouver through ORD to Boston tomorrow. She's only been given an hour for the connection, and we thought she'd be preclearing customs in YVR, but UA is reporting that that flight is coming into the International terminal.

Is it possible that she'll preclear in Vancouver and fly into T5? Or does the T5 arrival mean that she's going to have to be clearing customs in Chicago, which would mean the connection is a pipe dream?
Rest assured that she will pre-clear and that the flight will arrive in Terminal 1. For some reason United flight status shows future-day flights from Vancouver arriving in Terminal 5 although they do not. The correct T1 gate will appear tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply; it eased our concerns. You were right; they have her flying into T1 now.

Just posted United Airlines question. My layover is 1 hour, 30 minutes
I am traveling from MSP to Brussels via Chicago on United Airlines. Will tahe give me enough time to catch my connecting flight at ORD
Yes, all you have to do in ORD is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. 90 minutes is plenty of time.
Hi, I'm coming from Tokyo with Detroit as my destination, with a 2.5 hour layover in Chicago. Will I need to go through immigration in Chicago, or will I do that in Detroit? The reason I ask is because of the short layover. I need to know if that's enough time, because I"ll be traveling with my 6 month old daughter. Please help. Thank you!
In Chicago you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, and go through US Customs, then if your bags are tagged to Detroit you will drop them off at the re-check desk, then take the ATS Train to your departure terminal and go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi, I am travelling from Dayton to Delhi via Chiacgo and have only 1 hr 35 min to go to T5 from T3, is this time is enough?
Do I need to pass through security check again at T5?
Also Do I need to check in bags again if those are checked in at Dayton ? All bags are under same reservation from Dayton to Delhi.

TIA!!
Yes, you will have to go through security again in T5. If your bags are tagged to Delhi you will not have to do anything with them in Chicago. You have just enough time if the flight from Dayton is on-time.
I am arriving at 6:45pm from Helsinki / Finnair and connecting to Boston via American Airlines at 8:20pm. Is there enough time to deplane, get baggage, clear customs, and take bags to American in 1 hour 35 minutes?I think Finnair lands in Terminal 5,but not sure AA has gates at Terminal 5 ?? Can anyone help ? (Otherwise we'll be stuck in ORD for the night)
It's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. Your flight to Boston will depart from Terminal 3.
Hi I'm traveling to Doha,Qatar flying from Detroit to Chicago and I only have an hour and 10 minutes to get from t3 to t5 my bags are going straight to my destination do you think that's enough time to make my conncection flight?

Yes, that is possible. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Chicago.
