What ORD terminal would I be arriving at? What terminal do I depart from and how do I get there? Thanks
You will arrive in 3 and depart 1. They are connected by walkways through terminal 2 inside security if you don't have any checked bags. Flying to ORD is an awfully out-of-the-way route to get from PHX to SFO.
I have a 2hr layover arriving international from Doha, Qatar to Chicago, and connecting to a flight to Phoenix, AZ. Is this time sufficient including customs & immigration? What is the fastest way to make the connection? Any help is much appreciated.
If both flights are on the same reservation that is just enough time. You will arrive in Terminal 5, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the ATS Train to your departure terminal (if your flight to Phoenix is on American, that's Terminal 3), then go through security and to your departure gate.
I'm trying to get from C8 to F3. What is the quickest way? I have 1 hour
Walk. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. You just walk to the center of C, through the tunnel to B, make a right down B, follow the signs to the connector to F, and then up F. F3 is very close to the base of F.
I have two separate from Raleigh to Chicago (Delta) and one from Chicago to Tokyo (American). I will not have a checked bag. Will I have to leave the terminal and re-enter security. I have a two hour layover. Will this be enough time?
If you don't have checked bags, then you can check in online for your AA flight and walk directly from your arrival gate in T2 to your departure gate in Terminal 3 inside security. You have enough time even if you have to exit security if your Delta flight is on-time. Note that Delta does not fly nonstop from Raleigh to Chicago.

I'm flying from Toronto to Doha via Chicago (AA & Qatar Airways) with a 2hrs50mins layover in ORD. Is it enough time to connect to the flight to DOHA. The itinerary says to connect from Term 3 to Term 5. What is the procedure for connection? Thanks
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. In Chicago you will exit Terminal 3 and go to the ATS Train to Terminal 5 and go through security in T5 and to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Thanks for your help. The transition was smooth. I did not have to take the ATS train instead they had a Bus which took everyone who were flying on Qatar to Terminal 5 and hence there was no security in T5 to be done. And I guess I had been already pre-cleared in Toronto. I took about 1 hour for the transition to T5..
Now what will be the procedure for vice-versa? Coming back from DOHA via ORD to Toronto. Will I have to get my bags from baggage claim when I land in ORD and check in again to YYZ? Thanks again.
Hi, at the end of December I have a United Express flight coming in to ORD from Florida and leaving ORD for Vancouver on United... I've been told there is a terminal change. Is 60 minutes enough time to make this connecting flight?
Your flight from Florida could arrive in Terminal 1 or 2 and you will depart from Terminal 1. If you arrive in T2 it is connected to T1 inside security by a walkway. You have enough time.
I am traveling with a checked bag from LGA to ORD to Aruba with United Airline. I have 1hr 20min for connection. Is this enough time?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 1.
Hi, I am travelling from milwaukee (MKE) to Narita (Japan) and I am connecting through chicago (ORD) airport. I just have 57 min to go from terminal 2 to terminal 1 , is it enough time ? Do I need to go through the security? Both flights are on same reservation.
You do not need to go through security. There is a walkway that connects Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 inside security. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Daughter coming from S. Korea; 3 hrs. to get through Customs, connect to Delta flt to ATL. Sufficient time?
Yes, that should be enough time.
I'm traveling from Phoenix to Beirut on British with checked bags and stopping over in Chicago and London before I get there. I have 1h 20 min to go from terminal 3 to terminal 5 at ORD. Do I have enough time? And will I have to collect my bags and recheck them at T5?
If everything is on the same reservation you don't have to do anything with your bags in Chicago. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
