Hi, I am trying to book flights and want to know if 2 hours is enough connection time.
Scenario: Flight from Asia on Korean Air arrives at 9:30AM into Terminal 5, I need to clear customs, get bag and recheck, etc. Will be connecting on AA, options are 1230pm or 640PM. I have Global Entry. From researching, I will need to connect to Terminal 3 which is "close by" riding the train.
These are 2 reservations, 1st reservation home city to ORD RT, 2nd reservation ORD to Asia RT.
Hi! I´m travelling from Oslo to Miami via Helsinki and Chicago this summer. I bought my flight ticket from a travel agency as one ticket. My connection time in Chicago is only 1h45m. I arrive at terminal 5 (Finnair) in Chicago, and my next flight is going from terminal 3 (American Airlines). I need to go through the passport control, pick up my luggage, check in my luggage again and go through the security. Do I have enough time to reach my flight to Miami?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hello . Daughter is travelling alone (18) with a 2 hour transfer time at ohare next tuesday. Will she need to clear customs? It's one ticket. She needs to change plane from t5 to t1 . She is very nervous! What is procedure? Thank you
Yes, in Chicago she will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, take the ATS Train to Terminal 1, and go through security. She has just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We are arriving in O'hare from Shannon Ireland at 11:25 am and flight to New Orleans at 12:25. We arrive in Terminal 1 and depart Terminal 1 Do we have enough time to claim luggage and go through customs and make the flight? Agency booked flight time. where do you claim luggage??
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Shannon. All you have to do in Chicago is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time. You don't have to do anything with your luggage.
