Hello, i'm arriving on 19th with united airlines from amsterdam to Denver and i will stop in Chicago for transit. i need to go through immigration and check-out my luggage (just 1) and check it in again. i only have 2 hours. i would need to go from terminal 5 to 1. is that enough time?
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Greensboro to T3 O'hare Chicago via AA to TAIPEI... T5 via cathay pacific... do i need to get my luggage? With 9 hour layover time...
You do not have to do anything with your luggage if the layover is during the day. You will have to claim it if it's overnight.
I need wheelchair assistance. I'm arriving on AA at Terminal 3 and departing on Cathay from Terminal 5. I have two separate tickets. After I pick up my baggage at Terminal 3, is there a service I could hire to transfer me to Terminal 5? I have 3 hours layover. Thanks.
There is no such paid service that I'm aware of.
We are flying into Chicago terminal 5 from Heathrow with BA. We have 1 hr 30 min to get to terminal 3 for our connecting flight with AA to Orlando. Is this going to be enough time
Same Problem :(
Same Problem :(
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Flying from Toronto to Chicago, changing flights to go to Honolulu. Do we have to go through customs? Do we have to retrieve our baggage before changing flights? We are traveling Air Canada and changing to United Airlines in Chicago. Can our baggage be sent directly from Canada to Honolulu? Is 2 hours enough time for changing flights?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Chicago is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.
Me And my husbAnd with our baby will arrived at T3 via AA and need to transfer to T5 for our international flight and I have 5 big luggages that needs to be re-check. (tickets were bought in separate itenerary) Any tips on how to do the transfer? I appreciate very much your help! Thanks
Bring a foldable luggage cart in your luggage if you can't carry all the bags yourselves.
I am looking into flights from Providence, RI to Vancouver Canada in January 2018 on a Friday. I will be arriving at Chicago O Hare Airport coming in from Providence at 11:15 a.m. with United Express, with a 59 minutes layover time, then catching another United flight out of Chicago to Vancouver. There will be terminal change, but I don't know which ones. Will there be enough layover time?
That is enough time. The flights will be in Terminal 1 or 2 (likely 1), which are all connected inside security. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I will be flying into ORD on my way to EWR, by way of AAirlines. I have been given only 38 mins for layover. Any ideas on how or which way I will turn? I have printed out a map of all needed terminals.
Where are you flying to out of Chicago? All American gates are in Terminal 3.
I am flying to Newark(liberty) I will have a layover there then board Emirates to go to Mumbai
This is my first flight overseas as an adult so I'm kinda nervous and frustrated. Do you perhaps know I fly into ORD fl3113 then dep fl 1191 for EWR on Sunday 8-20. I really like some kinda idea where to go please ZAP!
TMR - what airline? Where are you flying into ORD from?
Sorry, I see that it's American. That is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 3.
Thank you ZAP
I'm traveling from SNA by UA A320, then connect at ORD to BGR by ERJ 175 on 8/14/17, pls show me the gate/terminal connections and how long it takes between the gates. Thanks.
You will arrive in Terminal 1 and depart from Terminal 1 or 2. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You can walk between any two gates in 15-20 minutes as they are all connected inside security.
Thank you. The information is very helpful, and make me feel secure for juggling between arrival and departure gates with only layover time of one hour also😀
I am arriving August 19th in Terminal 1 on United at 6:31pm, and have a departing flight with Emirates out of Terminal 5 at 8:30pm. I will have to pick up my bags then go to Terminal 5 with my luggage and recheck and go through security. Will I have enough time?
That's just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
