  • 1hr 6mins United connection

I'm flying Denver to Chicago, then Chicago to Toronto tomorrow with a 1hr 6min connection. Do you think I'll have to change terminals? Will I make it? Will my bags? Thanks for the help!

What airlines are you flying? Can't answer your question without that info.

Sorry - both flights are with United.

Yes, that should be enough time. You will arrive in Terminal 1 and depart from Terminal 1 or 2 (proably 1). Terminals 1 and 2 are connected inside security by a walkway.

  • Is 1h20 enough time to get from T5 to T2?

I'm flying from London and it says my flight gets in at T5 and my connecting flight to Cincinnati is going from T2, an hour and 20 min lay over is that enough time to transfer. I've never had to get a connecting flight before and I'm British so does not being American gonna slow me down to get my connecting flight? Thanks

Is this at JFK? No flights from London arrive in Terminal 5. If you are flying Delta you will both arrive and depart from Terminal 4. 80 minutes is 10 minutes below the minimum recommended time for that connection. It's possible but very difficult.

No it's Chicago and it's with Unites

Oh, OK. Well 1 hr 20 minutes is possible but it's equally hard. You will have to take the AirTrain from T5 to T2 after you re-check your bags. Also take note that your flight to CVG may actually depart from T1, so check the monitors.

  • Traveling from Boise to Harrisburg with 51 min

Hi, I'll be traveling from Boise, ID to Harrisburg, PA on United Airlines with a 51 minute layover at O'Hare. Is that enough time to get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1?

Yes, that is plenty of time. Both terminals are connected inside security by a walkway and there's a good chance your flight from Boise will arrive into Terminal 1 anyway.

Hi, I have a flight from ATW on Thursday landing into T1 at 18.45, my connecting international flight is from T5 to DUB at 20.00. Is approx. 1 hour (depending on time taken to get off flight) sufficient time to make the flight from T1 - T5 including security in T5? My bags will be checked through the whole way. Thanks in advance Freaking out female!!!

That should be enough time. Your flight from ATW will actually likely arrive in T2. Taking the ATS train to T5 takes less than 15 minutes.

thanks my booking says it will land in T1. Hopefully it will leave on time

Information regarding Terminals on those things is frequently wrong. There's about a 75% chance you will arrive in Terminal 2.

  • 40 minutes to make international connection?

We only have a 40 minute layover in Chicago to make our connecting international flight (Mexico). Is that enough time?

What airline or airlines are you flying? Where are you flying from? I can't answer your question without that info.

We are flying American Airlines from Springfield, MO to Chicago, and again taking American from Chicago to Cancun.

Then, yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. All you have to do in Chicago is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 3.

Hello i am connecting from Cahrlotte Douglas and stopping for 40mins to connect to a London flight with US airways is that enough time ?

That is enough time if your first flight is on-time, but it leaves no time to spare if there are any delays with your first flight.

Flying United into Gate C30 - shows leaving from D52, cannot locate D on terminal maps

What airport? Is your second flight United too?

yes we are flying into ohare from Harrisburg, Pa - it is our connector to las vegas flying united.

ORD does not have a gate D52, you are probably seeing your arrival gate into Las Vegas. All United gates at ORD are connected inside security.

  • Rome-ORD-SFO. Is 1:20 enough time?

First leg of united flight arriving in ORD from Rome on a Sat afternoon. 2nd leg of ticket is domestic but just got notification that they moved it up by 30 mins, leaving only 1:20 connection time. Is this possible? I do have global entry for customs, and the others I am traveling with are united global services/first class passengers if that makes a difference. I know they will put us on the next flight (~2 hours later) if we miss the connection, but was wondering if it is even feasible that we will make it? thanks.

With Global Entry and being GS/GF then I think you can make it.

  • 50 min. enough for terminal 3 to 5?

Finnair website shows a flight combination which I like due to its fare and convenient departure/arrival times. My only problem is that the AA flight arrives at terminal 3 at 21:10 and the next flight leaves from terminal 5 at 22:00 !!! I called Finnair and they said this is sufficient time but I am not so sure. Could someone tell me if I have to go out of immigration and then again go through security at terminal 5? Is this doable? Thank you.

Additional info: AA 2838 arrives at ORD 3 at 21:10 (from Montreal) AY 010 leaves ORD 5 at 22:00 (to Helsinki)

Hi, we will be flying from Tampa on United connecting in O Hare, flying Swiss to Zurich. and we only have 1 hr and 15 minutes. Is this enough time from Terminal 1 to 5?

Yes, that should be barely enough time to take the ATS Train from T1 to T5 and go through security.

I am flying from India on quarter airline to Chicago then connection to Indianapolis do I have to collect my luggage in Chicago and rebook it

What is "quarter Airline"? Did you purchase all your flights on one ticket or separate tickets? What airline are you flying to Indianapolis. You will have to claim your bags to go through US Customs.

  • Is 37 mins enough?

Hi! I will be flying from EWR to MBS and have a connecting flight in ORD. Is 37 mins enough if i have to get from terminal 1 to terminal 2? Do i have to recheck my baggage? And how long will it take me to go from one terminal to the other? Both flights are with United Airlines.

You will not have to claim your baggage in ORD. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is a walkway connecting T1 and T2 inside security. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time. But if you can standby for an earlier flight from Newark, I would do that.

Will 55 minutes be enough time to connect at ORD if I am going from one United flight to another-both are domestic flights

Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All United gates at ORD are connected inside security.
