I have a 9:30 am flight from Chicago to Vancover. How much time should I be in line for security?
I would arrive at about 7:30 - maybe 7:15 if you have checked bags.
I'm traveling from Dublin to Chicago and I have an hour and a half layover until my flight from Chicago to Austin. I don't have a boarding pass and I think I'll have to print one out there. I'll also have to claim my baggage and take the terminal, where I assume I'll be going through security again. That's all before I have to go through customs. I was wondering if you could tell me where I'm able to print out my boarding pass for the last leg of the trip?? Is that something they could give me when I'm checking my bag again??
You have everything out of order. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin. After that it depends what airlines you are flying. What airlines are you flying? Are your tickets on one reservation or two separate reservations.
Arriving from DUS at 1115 traveling on to DFW with 115 pm departure. Will I need to go through immigration-customers? Will I need to re-check my bag?
Why does Aer Lingus say to check in 3.5 hours before departure?
How much time does the security line take at Terminal 5 on Fri eve?
The security line shouldn't take more than an hour, but they probably start boarding close to an hour before departure. If you're there 2-2.5 hours early you'll be fine.
Hi I was wondering if 1 hour will be enough to check in to domestic flight? I am taking a bus from where I live and only have an hour before the flight departure. Please advise. Thank you.
That time would only be sufficient at very off-peak times such as late mornings/early afternoons and Saturday afternoons
I have an hour 15 min layover. Can I get to terminal 1 in enough time to make my flight?
Yes, there is a walkway connecting T2 and T1 inside security. You have plenty of time.
hello i am travelling from Delhi(India) to phoenix via london and Chicago (ORD). so my port of entry will be Chicago. layover time is 5 hours. and i have conection flights from British Airways. I have heard that ORD have quite a difficult port for immigration for F1 visa?? and as i am not travelling directly to phoenix will that can be a problem? (coz i didnt any direct flight). My university is- ASU
If you are holding a ticket to Phoenix that should not be an issue. 5 hours is plenty of time.
I have rented a car (from budget) from Columbus Ohio and will be arriving to Chicago at around 4pm
I have 3 big baggage and need help. Is there any assistance to find so I can have until my terminal?
Hi zap, I will have a flight from Kansai and transit at SFO for 3 hours, and then fly to my final destination at ORD.
Should I check in again at SFO?
and do I have to pass immigration/customes at SFO to get my flight to ORD?
How about my luggage? do I have to take my luggage again at SFO and re check in?or it will be delivered through my final destination in ORD?
I have Indonesian passport and all the flight will be with United airlines. Thank you.
If both tickets are on the same reservation you will be checked in for both flights in Osaka. In SFO you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. In ORD you just have to claim your bags.
Thank you for your quick reply. I love this forum!
I have a 6am (terminal 3) flight out of O'hare. I could show up at 3am, but I don' t think security opens until 4am. Will I be ok if I show up at 4am? I have precheck if that helps.
Security opens at 3:15 but Precheck doesn't open until about 5.
