Flight Change 42 Days Ahead of DepartureOct 2, 201210I booked a series of flights on United that provided ample layover time in ORD, ( 1hr 14 min) from IND to ORD to SFO. The flight is scheduled on Oct 12 and on Sep 9 my flight departure out of IND was changed from 5:50a to 6:15a. Now I'm down to 49 min layover in ORD. What circumstances would cause an airline to delay a flight 25 minutes 42 days ahead of the departure date?? I picked the trip 2 months in advance and the 1hr 14min layover was a deciding factor in my choosing the flight.otanul2006posted on Mon, Sep 10[ Reply ][ Like ]

ArrivalAug 4, 201210My sister will arrive tomorrow on Delta airlines 3593. I don't know what terminal she will arrive? Is there any parking area near the terminal? If I use termianal 5 , how can I go to terminal 3?ABposted on Fri, Aug 3At ORD, I suggest you use the free Cell Phone Lot located at Economy Parking Lot F. (Exit I-190 at North Mannheim Road and follow the signs to Economy Parking F/Cell Phone Lot). Stay with your car until your party has arrived, collected luggage and calls you to be picked up at the curb. (Tune in to 1630 AM within 2.5 mles of O'Hare for current space availability, fees and more. Alternatively, the Main Parking Garage and its surrounding Lots A & B are behind the Hilton Hotel, which in turn faces Terminal 2. On Bessie Coleman drive are Economy lots & E & G, while lot F is off Mannheim Rd. Lot D is right across from the International Terminal 5. Delta should arrive at Terminal 2.saaug12posted on Sat, Aug 4

Layover time needed for customsApr 26, 201210I am flying to Hong Kong via Chicago I have 1 hr. and 10 min. to make my flight and go through customs is this enough timeFDKposted on Wed, Apr 25Only international Arrivals need to go through customs (on your way back). O'Hare's 4 terminals are arranged in a semi-circle - T1, 2, 3 & 5. Between T5's ATS level and the domestic terminals 1, 2 & 3, the ATS shuttle train runs every few minutes - it makes its loop run counter clockwise (T1 is the last stop) - the full loop takes at least 30 mins. Look at your ticket (and on arrival at ORD at the overhead screens) to see which terminal/gate you depart from. You have enough time.thapr12posted on Thu, Apr 26

between terminalsMar 13, 201211ORD's domestic terminals 1, 2 & 3 are connected to each other at their gate areas. The International Terminal - T5 - is for all international arrivals, except those which had U.S. preclearance. Between T5's ATS level the and the domestic terminals 1, 2 & 3, the ATS shuttle train runs every few minutes - it makes its loop run counter clockwise (T1 is the last stop) - the full loop takes at least 30 mins.tumar12posted on Tue, Mar 131 person likes this post [ Like ]

Making a Connecting FlightFeb 6, 201200My daughter flies into ORD on United and arrives at 12:25pm (Terminal 2?). Her next flight is on Virgin Amer to LAX which I believe will be out of Terminal 3 at 3:50pm. She was told that she will have to retrieve her luggage and then check in at the Virgin Am ticket counter. Will she have enough time to do this?MNCHAMposted on Mon, Feb 6

Wife travelling with 2 yr oldJan 13, 201211Hello My Wife is travelling alone for the first time along with our 2yr old from Terminal 5. I have a domestic flight the same day, Am I allowed to go through security check at the international terminal 5 with them as I have a ticket for domestic airline the same evening? I was hoping to complete their boarding and then go to Terminal 2 to get on my domestic flight. Please advice.dreamengposted on Fri, Jan 131 person likes this post [ Like ]My suggestion is for you to enter Terminal 5 and get permission to accompany your wife & child by presenting your boarding ticket to an officer or at the information counter. Note that Terminal 5's Concourse M wraps around the concessions Court to the right with gates M12-M21, and to the left with gates M7-M1, extending in the center to gates M8-M11. If you don't get permission to accompany them to the gates, you can drop them off at the TSA checkpoint and take the ATS train back to your connecting T2 (between T5's ATS level the and the domestic terminals 1, 2 & 3, the ATS shuttle train runs every few minutes - it makes its loop run counter clockwise - T1 is the last stop - the full loop takes at least 30 mins.MUCposted on Fri, Jan 13

It has pics on it for my daughters Honor project. Pics are of peoria airports globe and camera is pinkklmomposted on Fri, Jan 61 person likes this post [ Like ]This is the iFly site, not the ORD site. However, ORD's rules are the same as of other rules: "If you lost an item near ticket counters, gate areas or on your airplane, contact your airline" - [the Airline's Lost & Found Dept.]. You can try to e-mail your concern to ORD at aviation@flychicago.com, or contact the Chicago Police at 773-686-2385, but most likely you won't get satisfaction thee.1039posted on Fri, Jan 6

ord terminal 5 to terminal 2Jan 3, 201244I only have 1 hour 50 minutes between flight what is the best way to go ?ineposted on Tue, Jan 34 people like this post [ Like ]As you arrive in the International Terminal, I presume you are an international arrival, in which case you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). When checking in at your original airport, make sure your airline will transfer your bags to your end destination - not all airlines do, if using different airlines. The whole procedure takes around 45 mins. thereafter, proceed up one level to the Airport Transit System where you can easily connect to either terminals 1, 2 or 3 for domestic flights. A free ATS shuttle train running every few minutes can take you there, making a continuous loop - count on another 30 mins at most.1039posted on Tue, Jan 3Thats more than enough time going to/from any gate at ORD. Safe travels!pilotjoeposted on Tue, Jan 3

making a connectionOct 2, 201220I have 40 min to get from a United Airlines gate to a United Express Skywest airlines gate. I don't know the gate #'s yet. Can anyone estimate the time I'll need or the distance?m. l.posted on Sat, Nov 19ORD is huge - United uses Terminals 1, 2 & 3. Terminal 1 has B & C gates; T2 has E & F gates, and T3 has G, H, K & L gates. You need to look at your ticket which gate number you arrive/ depart from (i.e., gate B1, C2, E3, etc.) if you need to connect to another terminal take the ATS train in the secured area or the pedestrian tunnel where you have to go through security again.MUCposted on Sun, Nov 20
