Cleveland Hopkins offers non-stop and connecting flights to over 80 destinations by a number of major airlines, including Continental, which has its hub there. Akron Canton, 40 miles away, is served by some major airlines offering direct flights to US airports.

1. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport CLE, located approximately 10 miles southwest of the city of Cleveland, is the largest commercial airport in northeast Ohio. The Airport has two runways, handles around 2,200 flights per week to approx. 80 destinations, and is the hub for Continental / Continental Express. Continental and other major airlines serve the airport with direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe. In 2008 the Airport counted 11.1 million passengers. The airport offers all the amenities expected of an airport its size, including conference and meeting rooms, currency exchange and plenty of parking options, including a parking garage. To get to the City and beyond, you can either take a taxi or limo, the LCT bus departing from the terminal's ticketing level outside United's ticket counter and runs to the Elyria Park and Ride station in Elyria, Ohio and Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.

2. Akron Canton Regional Airport CAK --40 miles from Cleveland Hopkins Airport--is located between the cities of Akron and Canton, close to Interstate 77 (exit 113) in the heart of northeast Ohio. It was recently ranked as one of the fastest-growing airports in the country. The Airport is responding to the surging demand by undertaking terminal improvements, including 'CAK 2018'--the Airport's 10-year plan started early 2008. Akron-Canton Airport is served by a number of major airlines offering direct flights to US hub cities, with connections around the world. In 2008, 1.5 million passengers used the Airport. Its passenger terminal offers free Wi-Fi access throughout, as well as the following services and amenities: Pre-security: Information Center, Subway & Grill, JJ Sports Bar, a coffee shop; post-security: Java Coast Coffee, a snack bar, Arby's and Great Lakes Brewery and a Business Center with computer access, printer and fax machines. Also, the COSE Business Club is available to all passengers, and Traveline books airline and vacations. If you need to pick up an arriving passenger, park in the Cell Phone Lot 1, adjacent to the terminal. Other parking options are: Short-term parking in Lot 2, directly in front of the terminal, Long-term parking in Lot 3 with easy access to the terminal and free shuttle service, and Economy parking in Lot 4 with free shuttle service.
