Constanta CND Airport Overview

Constanta International Airport CND, officially known as 'AIMKC' or ‘Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport Constanta’ serves teh Dobrogea region of Romenia and the port city of Constanta on the Black Sea.

The Airport is located in the community of Mihail Kogalniceanu, and 24 km northwest of Constanta, and can be accessed by by a DN 2A / E60 highway leading out of Constanta and ending in Bucharest.

With 94,618 passengers in 2012, Tarom, as well as a few low-cost airlines,  serve Constanta Airport with direct flights to European cities, offering connections around the world.
 
The passenger terminal of Constanta Airport offers the following amenities: A restaurant and a caffee, ticket offices, lost luggage, three cash machines, a currency exchange office, a medical center and mother & child room.
Rental car counters are located in the Arrivals terminal (Hermann, Europcar, Avis, Autonom & Rodna).  
 
Free parking at Constanta Airport is available at the parking lot across from the terminal with 300 parking spaces for short- and long-term parking. VIP parking is also available. The Airport approach clearly marks the locations of the parking lots.
 
To get from Constanta Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a shuttle bus or a train. (a) The taxi rank is in front of the arrivals hall; taxis are available 24/7. The fare to the city center is about 20 EU. To be safe, look for a taxi with a yellow license emblem.
(b) Minibuses run between the Airport and the Constanta railway station ‘Gara CFR’. Departing the Airport at different scheduled times for each day.
(c) The Constanta railway station offers connections throughout the country.
