Culiacan Bachigualato International Airport CUL
serves the southern Mexico State of Sinaloa and its capital city of Culiacan; it is gateway to the popular destinations of Culiacan, Mazatlan & Los Mochis, and is operated by OMA Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte. Note that in early 2015, ACI presented CUL with the 'best small airport service quality' award (among airports under 2M passengers/yr.)
The Airport is located at the western end of Culiacan, and east of the Gulf of California. It can be reached from Carreterra Federal 15 de Cuota (Mexico 15D).
With one runway and an estimated 1.2 million passengers annually, Culiacan International is served by a number of domestic airlines offering direct flights to Mexican destinations, and seasonal flights to Los Angeles.

has undergone considerable renovation and has now 2 jetways, 5 contact - and 3 remote aircraft positions, as well as four baggage carousels.
The Ground level is the arrivals level , while the Level 2 is the departure level leading to gates 1 - 5. Separate check-in counters are available for Aeromexico, Volaris, Interjet & Viva Aerobus. Both levels have food & drink and retail concessions. aanoffer 'Infinitum' internet access.
Amenities and services inside the terminal
include ATM machines by Banamex & HSB on the lower level, a food court, 2 vending machines & a shoeshine on the upper level, duty-free shops and regular shops on the first & second level, Customs, taxi & rental car counters in the Arrivals area, and Cenca newsstands on both levels.
Short- and long-term parking
is available in the parking lot across from the passenger terminal.
Aerocontaxi & Autotransportistas Amilpa both have a counter in the arrivals area of the Terminal. 'Limos.Com' offers luxury car, sedan & suv service, stretch limos, mini-buses and van/shuttles (tel. 866-546-6726).
Present and future Airport developments:
Both ongoing terminal modernization and runway expansion work are to be completed during 2017.
