The new Regional Express Train (linking Dakar to the new Airport in under 50 minutes): The project's Phase 1 involves a distance of 36 km (Dakar - Diamniado); phase 2 a distance of 19 km (Diamniadio - Airport) - to be operational by 2018, when the train will be able to move up to 15,000 passengers per day.
