    I will be flying R/T from Shreveport to DFW on 08/01/14 and returning on 08/09/14 flying AA. I am leaving on 08/02/14 R/T to LHR and returning 08/09/14 on Delta Airlines. My question is upon arrival at DFW on 08/09 I will go through Customs with my luggage, Will I have to then leave the terminal, come back to AA and then check in with them, or is there any way to check bags through to SHV and just recheck them after clearing Customs?

     

    Delta does not fly from DFW to LHR. You will be entering the US Somewhere other than DFW if you booked a DFW-LHR-DFW ticket with Delta.

     

    I'm sorry, you are correct...I am flying KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, operated by Delta. I also left out that the flight back into DFW will be LHR-AMS-DFW.

     

    So Actually all of your "Delta" flights are operated by KLM, so you will arrive in Terminal D, which also handles AA flights so re-checking your bags with AA will be a lot easier as you won't have to change terminals with your baggage. You can re-check your bags in Terminal D then go through security and take the Skylink train to your departure gate in Terminal B

    You will arrive in A. You will go through US Immigration, claim your baggage, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags with US Airways, then you will go up to the departure level and through security and to your departure gate. Your flight to Indianapolis will likely depart from Terminal B. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

     

  • Lost Giraffe Print Luggage through American Airlines

    Hi, I can't seem to get in contact with American Airline's lost luggage office, but my bags have been missing for 4 days now. I have filed a claim and was told that my bags were in DFW, but there apparently hasn't been much done to get my bags to GDL. I need help contacting AA staff! My luggage stands out a lot because it is very girly and has giraffe print.

     

    Also, forgot to add that the number 972-425-2465 is just not working for me. I can't seem to get past the part where it asks me for the last four digits of the number I am calling. Help.
