We are flying American from DCA to DFW and arriving at 7:53 AM. Our connecting flight to SJD (Mexico) departs at 9:10 AM. Not sure what terminal we will arrive at. I am assuming all international flights depart from Terminal D. Do we have enough time to make the connection?
You will arrive in A, C, or D and depart from D. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Yes, Dallas is an exception. If both flights are on American you just have to go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security.
So does the same go for if I'm flying from Shanghai to DFW? I have a 3 and half hour layover there before I go from DFW to JAX. I don't have to pick up my checked bags since both of my flights are with American?
We fly from Brussels to London, from London to Dallas and from Dallas to Guatemala City, all AA flights. We have 2.00 hours in Dallas. is that enough time and do we have to claim and re-check our baggage?
Yes, that should be just enough time. Since you are on an International to International connection all on AA at DFW, you will go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security, but you won't have to claim and re-check your bags.
I will be fliying from Madrid to Tucson via Dallas. I arrive in Dallas at 15:00 and the fly to Tucson is at 18:55. Both flyes wiht AA. Is this time sufficient to go through transit procedures? After pass the customs/immigration process... Do i have to claim the baggage at Dallas and re-check to Tucson?
Yes, that should be plenty of time. Yes, you will have to claim your bags to go through US Customs and then immediately re-check it at the re-check desk after clearing customs.
