My family and I will be travelling from MEM to Cancun with a connecting flight in DFW. Will we need to claim and recheck our bags for our connecting flight to Cancun at DFW?
No, assuming both flights are on American you won't have to claim your bags in DFW on the way to cancun. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
I will be departing DFW for Sydney QF?, Once through security at Terminal D, is there anywhere I can smoke. ? thank you.
DFW does not have any designated smoking areas inside security.
I am in Waco waiting to board to Dallas at 645. I have been told that the airport has shut down. Will this affect my fight to El Paso at 750.

There is no 7:50 PM flight to El Paso. Do you mean the 8:20 flight? As of right now it has no posted delay. No clue when your flight from Waco will actually get to DFW though.
I will be fliying from Madrid to Tucson via Dallas. I arrive in Dallas at 15:00 and the fly to Tucson is at 18:55. Both flyes wiht AA. Is this time sufficient to go through transit procedures? After pass the customs/immigration process... Do i have to claim the baggage at Dallas and re-check to Tucson?
Yes, that should be plenty of time. Yes, you will have to claim your bags to go through US Customs and then immediately re-check it at the re-check desk after clearing customs.
Good morning! I'll be arriving at 07:25 am to DFW and leaving to paris from DFW same day at 05:15 pm. Would it be reasonable to go a mall nearby to buy some stuff? Or time would be too tight??
That should be enough time to shop. Northeast Mall is anchored by Nordstroms. Has many nice shops. Utilize Yelp and Google for more ideas.
I'm flying into DFW from Cabo San Lucas and only have 90 min to make connection. Not checking a bag so will that be enough time to go through customs and make it to gate f?
It's just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Also, DFW does not have a "Gate F". What airlines are you flying?
Arriving from Cancun to Dallas FW at 5 pm - AA and connect to a flight to Sydney 8.00 pm ( 3 hours )
Do I go through customs or do I go through a transit lounge
Is 3 Hours sufficient for US airport processing /

Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, customs, and security. You have enough time.
can anyone tell me where American airline curbside service is at terminal D? upstairs, downstairs? Young person travelling alone. thanks
can anyone tell me the location of American Airlines curbside service in Terminal D. Upstairs, downstairs. thank you
It is on the departures level. Which I'm pretty sure is upstairs.
I am flying to DFW from Abu Dhabi (AUH). They do Pre-Clearance (Immigration) in Abu Dhabi. I arrive in DFW Terminal D at 3;55 PM and flying to DSM (Des Moines) at 6:25 pm. I have 2 hrs and 30 mins in between flight. Do I have to claim my luggage in DFW and re-check again for my flight in DSM? Do I still have to go through immigation and custom? In my itinerary, it says my departure for DSM is at Terminal 0. Is there a Terminal 0? I checked the map of DFW airport, I couldn't find such Terminal 0. Where is Terminal 0?
If both tickets are on the same reservation you don't have to claim your bags at DFW. It says 0 because they don't know the terminal. It will likely depart from Terminal A or C.
Yes it is on the same reservation. Does it mean that I will claim my baggage at my final destination which is DSM? So how would I know which terminal should I depart from? And if I still need to claim my bag in DFW, I have to re-check my baggage, do I have to go through custom? Please help me. Your advice is highly appreciated. Thank you.
You will depart DFW from Terminal A or C. You do not have to claim your bag in DFW. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Abu Dhabi. All you have to do in DFW is take the Skylink train from Terminal D to Terminal A or C.
