Arriving from Canada YYZ on American Airlines AA 1040 at 2109. Dep for Sydney Australia on QF 8 at 22.15. Is 1hr 6 mins sufficient time to make the connection and which terminal do we arrive and depart from?
Thanks
You will arrive in Terminal A, C, or D and depart from Terminal D. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the Skylink train as you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto.
Thanks, hate to have to swim!
Hi, I booked a flight LIM-DFW-ORD-HPN, but family plans changed and we have to get to MCI instead of HPN. Called AA and the cost for that change is insane. Today I searched for DFW-MCI flights and they are really cheap, so what I want to do is: take the LIM - DFW flight, get the bags through customs and instead of rechecking them inmediatly, just take them to the terminal where the flight to MCI departs and have them checked there.
Is that OK? Do I have to tell anything to AA? Thanks!!!
Yes, if this is the last flight of your international reservation you can do this.
I've got an AA redeye from Buenos Aires arriving at Dallas FW 05:06 am, then an Air Canada one to Vancouver departing at 07:25 am, I'm aware Air Canada it's on terminal E, don't know the specific terminal for the AA one though. How tight on time am I really? Considering I have to claim baggage and then check it again. Would appreciate if someone can guide me through the steps (immigration, claim baggage, customs, etc.) Will this 2:20 hs, be enough in normal conditions, plane on time and all?
Thx
You will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then take a shuttle bus to Terminal E, check your bags with Air Canada, and go through security. You realistically do not have enough time.
Thanks a lot, how much time will you recommend for this sort of connection?
Hello. I'm flying AA on a red eye from ONT to RSW with a connecting flight at DFW. I depart ONT at 1:10 AM and arrive in DFW at 6:07 AM. My departing flight leaves DFW at 6:55 AM. Will the 48 mins provide enough time to make the connection? Thanks.

Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Hi, i am flying on AA both ways. My flight from las arrives dfw at 7:04 pm and departs for iad at 8:15 pm. How will i know which terminal or gate to be and Will i be able to make it in time?
You will both arrive and depart from A, C, or D. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security. You have enough time.
On 6/26 travelling American Airlines 5796 from FWA to DFW arriving at 9:32 AM Terminal B and transferring to Mesa Airlines flight 5781 to SLP, MX departing at 10:40 AM Terminal D. Is there enough time in the layover to get through the airport and make the flight?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is take the Skylink Train from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There's also a chance your flight to SLP will depart from Terminal B.
On July 31, I will be flying from SEA to CMH via DFW on American Airlines. My flight arrives at DFW at 7:28 pm from SEA and departs DWF at 8:10 pm for CMH. Will be able to make my connection or will I miss my flight?
It is possible but leaves no time to spare. The Skylink train connects all terminals and gates inside security if you need to change terminals.
Will be flying CLE - DFW - TUS on American Airlines. Layover is 1hr and 36mins. Will there be a terminal change? Is it likely I will have time to purchase a meal?

Thank You
Yes, that is plenty of time and probably also gives you time to stop for fast food.
Does Skylink deliver you directly into terminal, or do you have to go back down escalator to get to terminal/gate?
It basically runs on the terminal roof, so yes, there is an escalator to get to the gate level.
Thanks. That's what I figured. Been 35 years since I have been through DFW and I wanted to familiarize myself. Thanks so much
